The Bourne Ultimatum Is Good But I Prefer The Firs
The Bourne Ultimatum is good but i prefer the first two by a long way. The fight scenes were good and the mystery behind Bourne's true identity was brilliant. But I expected much more from the film, more fast paced action. But whilst I was watching it, i just wanted to be somewhere else.
The Bourne Ultimatum Is Full Of Action And Is Not
The Bourne Ultimatum is full of action and is not short of deaths and violence. This film has a good story although may be hard to keep track of, but it is sure to keep you interested throughout. Packed with love hate anger and action.
If you like action films you are guaranteed to love this film
Just As Good As The Other Two Films With A Really
Just as good as the other two films with a really strong performance from Mr. Damon who I have thought has been a little wooden in recent films. Fast pace throughout with a real focus on the reason behind Bourne's need for the truth. Just wish the camera angles had been better. Plus the fight scenes and chases, the camera moves more than the action and is totally out of focus leaving you to fill in the blanks. The cast could all be cardboard cut outs during the fights and you just couldn't tell as its the out of focus camera moving doing all the work. But that aside the film over all is worth watching so go and see it now.
I Went To The Cinema Last Night Expecting Another
I went to the cinema last night expecting another high-paced and high quality action flick and wasn't disappointed. The action sequences were extraordinary and the storyline never let up, bounding along at a phenomenal pace. It never failed to bring out the pain and torment that Bourne is going through, and this aspect of the character is excellently played by Damon. He has also developed into a very believable action actor.
The director successfully maintains tension throughout the film, as well as maintaining the high quality of the previous two films. It is very unusual for a trilogy to remain at the same high standard throughout. When they're available, I will be buying all three films on DVD, and I expect they will be watchable as a single extra-long film. The Bourne Ultimatum even picks up directly from the aftermath of the climactic car chase scene in the Bourne Supremacy.
OK, now for the slight downsides (and I can only think of two). During action sequences (fights, chases etc.) the camera is constantly on the move. It's good for creating a feeling of movement but it is very distracting and makes it difficult to follow what's going on at times. It was a feature that annoyed me about the second film and unfortunately it hasn't improved.
The second down-point was that, halfway through, a former CIA worker (Nicky) implies to Bourne that they had some sort of connection before his amnesia. This is an interesting plot twist that I expected they would follow through and resolve towards the end of the film but it was never mentioned again! Very frustrating, particularly as this was billed as the final film in the franchise. It just seemed a pointless addition to the script.
Don't let these couple of points put you off, though, it's still a fantastic film and well worth the ticket price.
Go See This Film, And Have A Strong Coffee To Help
Go see this film, and have a strong coffee to help you focus as its relentless. When I was young I wanted to be James Bond, now I'm grown up I'm edging towards Jason Bourne...
Great review, cheers for the advice! I saw the Bourne Identity for the first time last night and thought it was fantastic; I'm going to watch the next one promptly and then go and see this bad boy on the big screen while I've got the chance. Is this the last one do you know?
