Avoid At All Costs!..

Huge disappointment, please don't use and avoid the hassle. Plus terrible to contact if you want information about issues.

Huge disappointment, bought a "one night escape with dinner" and finding it impossible to use!. Went through the website and redeemed my voucher very easily but that's when my trouble started..

Tried to book 3 hotels out of a tiny selection of "included" hotels before you have to pay extra.. out of the 3 hotels I tried to book, 2 didn't honour my voucher anymore (as 1 of the hotels actually said they can't make money out of it), and the other hotel was actually close to guests for 2025, the one in Crewe. I've now had to pay a upgrade fee to try and get a different hotel, but even this has proved fruitless as I still haven't booked my short break. I've now paid WELL over the odds for a night away and a meal, and feel well cheated out of my money.

As this was bought as a Christmas gift and over the 30 days ago I can't get my money back too.

I did also find out the hotel I've had to pick looks like my voucher can't be used on Saturday nights...

Avoid Red Letter Days at all cost, there isn't even a phone number you can call for assistance, and the online (lack) of help is a bot.

£169 down, nothing for my money and left feeling annoyed and had off!.

For an update, I was promised a refund which said could take up to 30 for the money to go back in my account it's now been over that and no refund!, impossible to speak to someone as again no contact details and their chat bot doesn't have an option to pick which covers refund issues... I will never use these guys again, I really do feel like I have just thrown my money on the fire now ????.

Avoid these vouchers!

They appear to be being bought, used and resold. Attempts to find out how this could have happened have been ignored. To my mind, red letter days are complicit in the sham because they have made no effort to provide any helpful response to my inquiries and have simply ignored several emails.

They have responded in a public forum to a poor review I left on a different site but don’t even acknowledge customers communicating directly with them. Disgraceful.

When we arrived a the venue we were only offer a Burger or pizza for main… very little choice for starting or desert

Horrendous

Bought the racing car driving experience for my son’s 18th. There’s only 1 available day in the next 6 months and they want an extra £50 for it. The site is hard to navigate and buying anything is just a waste of money.

Awful Site

Do not bother getting a red letter days voucher for anyone, the site is very complicated to navigate then when you know what you want to do once you redeem your voucher you are limited to what you can book. Chose something which should then give you a choice of things to do to then be actually only given one choice, then you can’t actually book it. What an awful site this is AVOID, unless you want to throw your money away. £150 profit for red letter days that we can’t use.

Totally agree! Trying to book afternoon tea at venue which RLD have confirmed is acceptable and it’s not coming up as an option. Tried calling them but they never pick up the phone. Emailed and eventually got a response to my original question about venue. Now can’t get a reply to ask why I can’t book this venue online. Meant to be going this afternoon but will have to cancel as I can’t get a redemption voucher. AWFUL !!

Just The Worst Time Ever Avoid This So Called Company

where do i start, first off we had to pay extra because we could find nothing within the time frame of the voucher, when searching the red letter days site half the places shown were no longer dealing with red letter days, and to be honest when i rang to try and make a booking none of them had a nice word to say about them at all, we got wrong numbers, numbers that were no longer in use, i almost gave up but they would not refund my money so i had to persist, even contacting them was a nightmare, kept getting a chat bot that was as much use as a one legged man in a kicking contest, there own website says agents available 8am till 8pm mon-fri. i googled the number and got a recorded message saying lines were open 9-5:30 so still had no joy at 6pm, we managed to make a booking by googling the hotel and got the right number, they told us they have been onto red letter days to get the number right for 2 years now, to be perfectly honest the whole experience has been a total nightmare, this is the 3rd voucher we have had with them and the same story and bad experience with all of them, we will NEVER use this bunch of half wits ever again,

if you want an experience or weekend break, book direct you will get better results and probably a cheaper and better deal.

I purchased a voucher for the triple super car blast with high speed passenger ride, on the website it clearly states one of the locations is brands hatch, I completely understood there maybe an extra premium for this track and still happy to purchase and pay the extra if needed after reading what is offered etc. Anyway once purchased I couldn’t use the voucher. Couldn’t phone red letter days, only online chat where the lovely chap informed me I had apparently brought my voucher on their old website!! And it’s my fault for not clearing my cookies/cache etc! Hmm.. very odd as my partner from work and my mother from her house could also go on the only website they could find, see what I’d brought and see it stated Brands Hatch. I screenshot this for the lovely chap and pointed out this is misleading advertising and deceiving customers. As well as screenshots I also sent him the link that directed him to the website. That again he told me was the old website. I did not believe for one second that it was an old website as where is the new website!! Because only one website is found when searching for them. Plus I should not of been able to buy a voucher on a website that was not in use. All sounded like complete bs. I will be reporting to trading standards with all the screenshots and the product codes including the screenshots from the online chat.

Awful Experience!

I recieved a gift voucher which I had to then use to book the experience I wanted and payed an additional amount. Not only was this extremely difficult to navigate, the website was rejecting any Natwest cards depsite having money in the accounts. I managed to pay with a Barclays and went to book the time and date and the experience had expired. How is anyone suppose to know this if the offer is still up !? It was then difficult to get support and there was no email or contact number. This an absolute sh**tshow !!.

Red letter days take your money but only pretend to help. No response through chat or email. They don’t care about you. They just ignore and communication. Terrible customer service
