Boring
I've seen quite a few shows here in Toronto as well as NYC & Vegas. Was quite disappointed in Wicked. I loved Wizard of Oz & maybe had high expectations because of the link between the 2 shows. I found the story line to be very simple & boring. Really, no creativity in the writing & overall idea. The singing was average at best & way over done at times (meaning some of the notes were held way too long - wicked witch in particular). The best part of the show was probably the costumes. I would not recommend it.

So Dull And Boring
For my daughter of seven and myself the whole story line is boring, most of the story telling can't be heard well. The only thing what good have a plus is the decor. But in whole the show is boring from beginning to the end because their is no excitement in the storyline

Very Boring, Disappointing, Poor Story
My husband and I have just came back from Wicked musical. It was a gift for my birthday. I must say that sadly we are very disappointed with the show. It was extremely boring, poor story which made no sense, noisy singing, songs not catchy at all, average dancing. The plot was boring. It was not funny either. We wanted to leave at the interval, but decided to stay and give a second chance. Unfortunately, the second half was not better at all. I almost slept at the end.
The only interesting thing was the special effects and the costumes.
It is very disappointing that this musical is considered and advertised as one of the best London's musical.
thoroughly agree I had to force myself to sit there until the end as the cost was not cheap for poor quality singers, poor tunes and lyrics and this was only yesterday so I hope this has not put me off live theatre.

Boring
A terrible experience. A very poor script, scenery was dull and unimaginative. Voices were not distinct. Wanted to leave at the interval but thought it might improve. It didn't, it was dull and boring throughout.

Dull Music, Dull Script, Dull Dancing
I went with my husband and three teenage daughters as a family treat as the girls had been wanting to see it for some time. I have been to many of the west end shows, love musicals and usually get totally emotionally involved with them. Unfortunately, 'Wicked' didn't engage my husband, my 18 year old daughter or myself at all. We found the songs extremely dull, tuneless and unmoving - perhaps because the script didn't allow the characters to become emotionally convincing. I was so bored, I could gladly have left at the interval and my husband was desperately trying not to nod off. It reminded me of some of the more modern second-rate Disney musical cartoons - which is maybe why my 13 and 14 year old daughters enjoyed it more than we did. Staging, costumes, acting, dancing and actual singing were average. The most impressive part of the show for me were the flying monkeys...
Boring - Boring - Boring
Went with my daughter for a 'treat' - I am in my fifties and my daughter is in her twenties. We were so disappointed by lack of storyline, no variation in the music - two soprano voices belting out dull dull songs - we left during the interval. The special effects were impressive but could not merit us staying any longer.

Wicked..yes!
I have now seen this show 3 times and each time it has been brilliant. The cast and scenery make this a fantastic show, a show which caters for the whole family. Matt Willis was in the latest show I show but have to admit he has not been as good as his predecessors.
However Rachel Tucker- has an amazing voice and stage prescence and its worth seeing the show just for her.
The theatre is very close to Victoria underground station.
Prices are reasonable if you hunt down the bargains.
I would recommend this show as must see if you visit London.

It Cast Me Under A Spell!
Wicked is one of the best musicals I have ever scene! All the costume, music and scenery is fantastic! After it had finished, I was singing along to all the songs and buying the FULL soundtrack! It's obsessive! Wicked is exciting and mind-blowing! Anyone can see it! It's about the 2 witches from the 'Wizard of Oz', Glinda and Elphaba,Rachel Tucker (Elphaba) was AMAZING! Her voice and acting skills are well....WICKED! It's a must see production! The music was perfect for every drama. The scenery for it was perfect, especially the song "Defying Gravity", this got me into tears and tore me up! This has a good moral and it tells a story on a higher level about friendship, courage and standing up to what you believe in! I am seeing it again!
Very Very Dull And Boring
The worst show I have ever had to sit through. We were very tempted not to go back to our seats after the interval. Theatre was only 2/3 full and there were large parties of school children which shows that they must be selling the seats off cheaply so we feel very ripped off at having paid £80 plus per seat for our pre booked seats. Has put us off London theatre for a while, very very bad value for money not a pleasant evening out.
