Which Suggested Hp For My New Laptop Purchase...

Do not go anywhere near the HP Store for a new laptop, they are appalling. I ordered a new laptop and paid over £1200 for it along with a care package. The laptop took ages to arrive and when it did the screen was cracked from one side to the other. After trying to call them countless times I resorted to using the Internet Chat facility. This took hours and hours of my time and the people you talk to really don't care, the sales team were excellent, what a surprise. I stayed in all day today as they were supposed to collect the damaged laptop, they did not and now they have said Friday. I have no idea when or if I will get a replacement!! Totally shocking and would suggest no one goes anywhere near them.

Shame the sales team didn't say by all means buy one of our laptops but do not expect any after sales service at all!!

Not Fit For Purpose

I have given up writing to Which? about the inaccuracy of their reviews as they pay no attention to any constructive comments. However, their latest review on Airlines deserves the truth about why Which? has become irrelevant in today's marketplace.

This survey is a nonsense. I have provided evidence that the airline they have deemed to be No. 1 in the UK is so far off the mark as to make the Which? process of surveying tosh. Also, Aurigny can in no way be compared with an airline such as EasyJet. The scale of their respective operations is simply not comparable.

Having used Aurigny for many years, I can say that far from being the No.1 airline, I would place them near the bottom. 3 out of 4 aircraft disabled for weeks/months, leaving people stranded: Cancelled flights is not something to commend, but rather reprove. On one occasion, people turning up for their flights at Southampton this summer were informed that the planes had gone tech and could they come back in 2 weeks time!

The Chef Executive, who has invested millions (against advice) in planes that are past their use by date. Planes that have been unable to carry peoples' luggage should the plane be full to capacity, leaving the luggage to follow on at a later date. Inexperienced in running an airline. This is the real Aurigny, not the one Which? would have people believe is voted No. 1. By whom? How many people in this survey who use this airline on a daily/weekly basis have been canvassed. I know for a fact those who rely on this airline to get them from A to B, the Channel Islanders who, through their government, own Aurigny, have not.

No. 1 airline. NO!. The only No.1 asset Aurigny has are the staff at Alderney Airport which have had to contend with such challenging issues thrown at them by the Chief Exec of Aurigny it is a wonder they still have the patience to smile and go that extra mile to help passengers. They are, in my opinion, worthy to be nominated No. 1, not an airline that makes their life intolerable by their demands; and, No, I have never worked for Aurigny, just had the misfortune to fly with them.

As one pilot put it when flying over Guernsey Airport: I saw a Dornier sticking its nose out of the airport hanger when flying over; it must have been trying to get some fresh air.

So, Which? if your other surveys are on a par with your Airline survey, then it is about time you retired because your survey really is a meaningless bit of paperwork and not the facts.

Which..what Are They Up To? Fox In A Henhouse I Say

I took up a Which sub as many of us do, to check out a pending purchase. Out of some sort of loyalty I always let the trial run on a couple of months. This time I have to object. Which now employs even more devious tools to make it hard to cancel the sub / log on as a user, than they used to do.

I would say- take up their 'come on' trial sub. Note that its a credit card not A d.d., SO YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM TO CANCEL. Realise its an £11 per month sub for ONE issue. Notice that even just logging on is a problem. Download what you need and cancel ASAP

Which? Magazine A Ripoff !

Never sign up to a free trial with which - you pay a pound but then they start debiting your account when 4 weeks are up without even so much as an e-mail to inform you !

I cannot beleive a company that reviews others operates a policy designed to rip off customers and take money for something they don't want!

Which? Misleading Tv Advert

Most of us know of "Which?" because they test a lot of products as a service to us consumers.

Even though I believe it's crazy that a private company has taken it upon themselves to test products when the government should actually have a department to ensure that every single product brought out to the consumer is not only set to a very high standard but is also tested (like they have council surveyors to check the progress of building residences).

What I'm writing about are the TV adverts that Which? has created to make you believe that they are there to help you be more aware of what you're getting yourself into.

I kept seeing the advert of "free" information on how to grow your own vegetables & fruit and thought that it'd be nice to know the process so I sent the text that I was interested.

I received a text stating that they will give me a call back for the details. Not long after, I did receive a phone call from them.

They were very cheeky about it but I want to point something out first.

The moment that I took the call, I could hear DOZENS of people in the background; obviously in cubicles, trying to make sales. Instead of starting off and telling me his sales pitch, he takes my details - even asking me why I'd like this information to make it seem as though he cared - he did not care at all.

He then goes into his sales pitch requesting that I buy a "gardening package" from them for three pounds GBP and the retail price is nearly 30 GBP because what's three pounds?

Regardless of how small that figure seems, it's the fact that their advert is absolutely 100 % misleading that infuriated me!!

It isn't enough that they DEMAND for you to pay them to tell you about the products they've tested, but now they're DEMANDING that you can send this text (which does cost you for sending it) to receive "free" information when it's clearly not.

No, it's not mandatory for you to buy this gardening kit and I managed to stick to my guns and say, "No thank you" but it took a lot of will power to not hang up on him when he started talking about taking my money away - on the phone. Asking for me to recite my bank details to him - over the phone.

My advice - don't bother. Which? isn't offering "free" anything. They waste the price of the text and more importantly, they waste your time which is absolutely invaluable.

It's a sheer rip off.
