Victoria Wood, Victoria Wood: Live

I have to say that Victoria Wood has to be one of my all time favourite comediennes and this album, taken from her hilarious series Victoria Wood - As Seen On TV, does not disappoint. If you like the TV series, you'll love this. Gags from all the best sketches including Acorn Antiques, Julie Walters' Mrs Overall and plenty more can be just as easily enjoyed audibly as they can visually. Great for cheering up a miserable afternoon or if you're in the middle of something that means you can listen to but not devote your full attention to something, say driving or cleaning the house. Brilliant.
