Well, in the age where the charts are so over saturated with manufactured pop and so called new bands that are simply chewing up what you've heard a thousand times before and spitting it right back at you, it's good to hear an act that isn't trying to be anything it's not. Presenting The Holloways - formed in a trendy London Bar and named after the road it's on, their single Generator certainly does what it says on the tin with it's fun lyrics about generating 'music that makes you feel better'. Upbeat, fast, poppy guitars and cheeky, mockney lyrics remeniscent of Chas and Dave make this a definite summer hit that you can't help but bop along to!

Generator is a re-release from The Holloways of a track that originally got to the top 40 last year. The song is real mish mash of styles from this obscure outfit, at times lending itself to ska and sometimes punk, and will send you a little bit mental. However, this aside the track still manages to be catchy and will certainly do well second time around.
