Juliette and the Licks, Four on the Floor

I have had the pleasure of seeing Juliette and the Licks not once but twice now, so their new album Four on the Floor was a natural selection. This 10 track punk rock style album has the old LA music scene wrapped up and packaged with all the usual attitude you would expect. Film star turned rock god Juliette Lewis has put so much passion into this, it literally penetrates through your ears in an exciting explosion of sound, guitar rifts and vocals.

You can hear influences of other artists but more so when you see them live with all the Jagger poses with so much more soul. The stand out tracks on this album are the single 'Sticky Honey' and 'Get Up' but the rest of the numbers are equally good. If you are looking for some good old fashioned rock with an all new adrenalin rush I would highly recommend Four on the Floor. But not for the light hearted due to all the expletives.
