Epiphone '56 Goldtop

I bought one of these beasts about three years ago. This past spring I decided it was time to let at least one guitar go. I decided on the near mint Epi '56 Goldtop. I sold it locally for $500 with hard case and missed it from the day I sold it. Luckily for me this past summer I found one for sale locally for $400. This guitar had the pups upgraded to Seymour Duncans. The tuners and three way switch were also upgraded. As you can suspect, I was as happy as a pig in (you kow what) at having found this instrument. I scraped my cash together and bought it. I haven't regretted my purchase for one second. This one plays and sounds even better than the first one I owned. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a guitar-beginner to pro.

I totally agree! Although my Fender Telecaster Lite Ash is a wonderful guitar it's still the Les Paul thing that catches me all the time again. Think I'm gonna write a review of my new Les Paul Plus Top Pro FX with Floyd Rose soon...

Any Guitar Lover Will Love This "les Paul Copy". A

Any guitar lover will love this "Les Paul copy". A coworker of mine played my 56 goldtop LP Epi reissue and likes it better than his 70's Gibson Les Paul that has increased in value so much that he doesn't want to play it anymore. He said he's buying one of these for a "player guitar."

The Goldtop Is An All Round Good Guitar! Beautiful

The Goldtop is an all round good guitar! Beautiful clean tones on all settings and a really rocking sound when you dirt it up! Great sustain, easy to play! Great value for the money! I play mine through a Marshall MG250DFX and its awesome! Buy one today! The only niggle I have with it is that the numbers on the volume and tone control are the same colour as the knobs and its hard to see where your at with them!
