The Chronicles Of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe

This magical BBC adaptation of C.S. Lewis's The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe was produced in 1988. Remaining faithful to the original books, these programmes serve up a real treat to be enjoyed by the young and old alike. Part of a mini-series of four of C.S Lewis's The Chronicles Of Narnia tales, this adaptation is arguably the best. The overall look is somewhat dated. I appreciate that fact, but it is nearly twenty years old! The acting quality, castings, sets and costumes are top drawer, and it is no coincidence that the show was nominated for a variety of awards, including an Emmy, and recognition from BAFTA. I imagine there can't be many people out there who don't already know the story, but a copy of this DVD is a real must. Enjoy!
