This Is, To Me, The Best Red Dwarf Series. It Fel

This is, to me, the best Red Dwarf series. It felt more solid than the first series, but hadn't yet become as gimmicky as the series to come. I don't mean to say I dislike the other series, (To the contrary, I enjoy every series I've seen,) but this one in particular stood out to me as well thought out, with the development of the characters well paced.

It is also the series in which my very favourite episode, "Thanks for the Memory" appears. This is not one of the more renowned episodes, with many feeling that not enough 'happens' in it. I, however, feel that the plot is one of the most original and thought provoking ideas that I have ever seen come from television. It gives us a closer look at both Lister and Rimmer - particularly Rimmer - and is, like all episodes, brilliantly hilarious, even with its serious undertones.

There is also the entrance of the celebrated character, Kryton. Though he is portrayed by a different actor, I feel that he was well represented, and his classic, "I was only gone two minutes!" line is absolutely perfect.

These two episodes are also accompanied by such greats as "Better Than Life" and "Queeg", and who can forget Cat's snappy dream from "Parallel Universe"?

All in all, this season is a load of fun, containing both the remarkable humour that Red Dwarf is famous for and plots that are original and innovative.

Good To See The Guys Back After So Long And Had Hi

Good to see the guys back after so long and had high hopes

Red Dwarf: Back To Earth would be a fitting end to the series.

The Six Episodes In Red Dwarf Series Ii Are Excell

The six episodes in Red Dwarf Series II are excellent, the only stumbling block is the first episode, Kryten. They rebound exceptionally with Better Than Life which is one of the best RD episodes EVER! As with Series I Craig, Chris, Danny and Norman deliver smegging good performances. Boys from the Dwarf! Series II "Kryten" "Better Than Life" "Queeg," "Stasis Leak" "Thanks for the Memory" "Parallel Universe."

Red Dwarf, Series 4... What A Series!! Ace Rimmer,

Red Dwarf, Series 4... What a Series!! Ace Rimmer, Kryton falling in love with a blob, A Droid World featuring the likes of Gandi, Hitler and Elvis, and the Imortal line, 'Of course lager.. the only thing to kill a vindaloo!'. Whilst there are occassional flaws in the plot of Red Dwarf you really don't care because the jokes are so good. 6 Great episodes, I think it beats the first 3 Series, I Can't wait for series 5 to be out on DVD as I haven't seen it since they were originally on TV and I need to see Mr Flibbles the penguin again!!

Sitcoms Don't Go On To Make Seven Series If They'r

Sitcoms don't go on to make seven series if they're not that good. Red Dwarf has such a large cult following and i've never met anyone who could sit through an episode without laughing.

The jokes range from the intelligent, as the crew contemplate the likes of parallel universities, to simple toilet humour. For me i think the strength of red dwarf lies in the characters, Lister the last surving human is just a level above a tramp, Rimmer is equally ambitious, arrogant and incompitant, the Cat who is just simply cool and Kryton a mechanoid who gets increasingly more human as the series go on.

If you're reading this chances are you were a fan to, the shows are well worth buying as they're even better to watch now, a true timeless classic of british comedy.
