Value For Money

Horrendous

Totally sympathise with you, Barnet branch are worse, ! star is too much.

Absolutely horrendous.

If you're ok with breach of data protection and disclosure of your personal finances to your ex-husband, hey, go with Chancellors.

They are SO inept, unbelievably arrogant, inordinately incompetent and even with numerous court demands, they refused to engage. At your peril.

One Star Too Many But Minimum On Selection.. Avoid....

Bracknell, Ascot & elsewhere. Rented family homes not available as marketed. Beware - chancellors are only interested in taking £320 admin fees and more which they never refund once you've been hooked to apply for property. No customer service, care or professionalism of any kind. Breached data protection act. Unending miscommunications. Never answer simple questions. Untrusting which means they can't be trusted, and with reason! They endlessly lie about other non existant offers and don't pay any attention to tenant and family needs or requirements. They equally fleece landlords with extortionate fees. The uk letting industry is unregulated complete mess. This outfit being amongst very worst 1 size fits all tick box culture to avoid for any families.

Dismal From Start To Finish

An utterly dismal service from start to finish.

Doing the contract work, they sent our personal details by email - something that's counter to the Data Protection Act. And we're talking the entire set of personal details including DoB, contact info, employment details, everything.

They also don't seem to be able to tell when someone has paid them; you have to send them a screenshot of your online banking to prove money has been transferred to them.

During the process we had to keep chasing them to find out the state of things. Only one person even returned calls like they said they would

Now that we're in the property and they're managing it, they continue to fail. It took them a week to fix the heating; we chased them countless times. They seem to have no real out-of-ours provision. And that's just the first week of living here!

Poor Customer Service

I experienced poor customer service from Chancellors State agency in Woking. While looking for properties I discovered that most properties listed in their website (and that were sent to me via email) were not actually available and were there just there to catch my attention.

After I eventually found a property and signed the documentation for my required move in date, they entered in contact with me and told me that there had been a typo in the documentation and I would have to move in 20 days after what they had initially stated.

Generally unfriendly customer service.
