£240 Charge At The The End Of The Contract
Terrible service, poor communication, not returning calls and now just to top it all they are attempting to charge me £240 because the contract is ending even though they've had three months notice. Looks like they think they can unilaterally change the terms of the contract just like that without both parties agreeing. Beware!!

Once you sign up with them and start paying their fees, they become difficult to get hold of and are dismissive. I do not believe their positive reviews for a second.

3+ Months Of Chasing + They Raised Prices Without Telling Me
It took 3+ months of chasing weekly to get my tenancy renewal contract sent out to my tenants.
At the end of it they increased my monthly fee by 20% without any communication, warning or update.
After reaching out to ask about the increase they ignored my emails.
Poor communication and actively avoid trying to improve. Shocking that after all the issues, their management got involved and nothing changed. Then they increased the monthly fee by 20% without any communication.
Terrible way to treat a long term customer.

I’d give a NEGATIVE 5 star if I could, but review requires me to rate at least a star to post reviews. Highly discourage anyone using their landlord services. Extremely extremely poor communication and not at all efficient. I have been managed by the agent who is very slow in electronic response, not answering all of my queries, not providing me with updates regularly after my requests for arranging suppliers and even after my telephone call to complain and plea to improve communication, this remains very poor. My case was not handed over to any colleagues to take over when she was on leave and I had to contact other support team to follow up on my case. I have lost so many interest from applicants and potential tenants because of the lack of communication and response. Not worth the cheaper price for landlord letting manager at all, i will be converting my property management service.

Good Service Let Down By User Interface Issues I Experienced
This service is useful and good value for money for landlords who are experienced letters. It should be noted that staff at 'Letting a Property' are not contract law qualified, but are able to point you to advice and checks required by landlords as stated on Gov.UK site.
I personally have had issues with the user interface not correctly displaying information about by tenant paying on time, and initially I was not paid my rent on time due to "The system was unfortunately incorrect". Subsequently, contacting 'Letting a Property' resolved this, and specifically a representative has been invaluable at getting a resolution.
I presume the number of staff is relatively small, I've never been able to connect to a member of staff instantly through their portal, but to give them credit, they do get back to you on e-mail and resolve issues typically within 48 hours.

Landlord Customer - No Response From Support Line
I don't know what's happening to their customer service, it used to be decent.
I'm a landlord and emailed their support email address (which is what I always use) support AT lettingaproperty.com on 17th Feb asking for a changing in my bank details for receiving the rent, no response.
Followed up to the same email address on 1st March, again no response yet (today is 12th March).
I don't expect an instant response for a routine matter but surely it shouldn't take more than 3-4 working days to respond to a customer's email to a support line?
I don't like leaving bad reviews but this is a plea for help, please respond to my request.

We advertised the property and within a couple of days we had back to back viewings at the weekend. As this is our first time, the customer service was exceptional and great advice. They explained what certificates we needed and also gave advice on the rental price. I’d highly recommend and were looking forward to the new tenant moving in mid January. Thanks to all the team!

Steer Clear To Avoid Sorrow And Pain
I have a tenant in a property managed by LAP.Com,the tenant has not paid rent since March i am still waiting for a court date in December even though the eviction notice was served in May,their customer service is very bad you have to continually chase for updates, it takes them ages to get back to you, and most of the time they don't know what they are doing, signing up with them was a very bad decision on my part... Avoid them like a plague.

From the very start of my experience with Lettingaproperty everyone has been extremely helpful. I am in the process of letting my first rental property and have felt supported the whole way through. I had a lot of interest in my property with 7 viewings in the first weekend after the property being advertised which were all handled and arranged through their own dashboard. Once I chose the tenants and informed Lettingaproperty, the holding deposit was paid within 24 hours. They've made the whole process easy and I would definitely recommend using them.
