Rang For Help Last Friday … Fixed By The Following Friday!!

A sofa chair bought in 2016 broke a spring retaining clip … o wasn’t sure about whether any warranty was still applicable but I rang DFS for help and was very pleased to find that Frame and Springs are warranted for 15 years !!!

They booked in a Service Visit for a week later and I’m now sitting in my repaired chair … the comfiest place in my world !

Thanks for responding fantastically to my enquiry and to the employee who arrived within the agreed time slot and fixed the chair with remarkable skill and care !

Yes im chuffed to bits !

Very Poor Customer Service

Visited store selected sofas then downhill from there

Couldn’t give a timed delivery,ie morning or afternoon, just between 7am -8 pm

So waited in until 3 o’clock when 2 men in a beat up box van arrived at the door, couldn’t really fault them assembled furniture removed all waste

On further inspection found recliner switches did not work on one sofa and a big gap between the seats

Telephoned customer service and was told couldn’t book a service call in as the courier had not marked it as delivered and to ring back 3 days later. 3 days later was told it had still not been booked in as delivered so still stuck with a sofa that doesn’t work and and still no further forward

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Don’t Sign There Contract!

Baught a sofa only for when they tried to deliver it to be told this sofa wouldn’t fit thought a uk single door, only fits through double doors. DFS charges me almost £300 for selling me a sofa they could not deliver. Even when the manager confirmed the salesman had not covered the delivery restrictions, they hide behind the contract they make u sigh on the iPad with out giving u a copy. Bad company do not buy from them!

False Promise Every Time

we order sofa paid and it been promise to us sofa will be deliver within 2 weeks But terrible service from store and from company ITS just awfull service I took 3 days off every week they told me monday it will be deliver but that never happen they use this company name WSHOMEDELL transportation company

Disappointed With Delivery Service

Very disappointed!! Ordered sofa 28/04/2024 after waiting 12 for delivery I am finally able to book my delivery slot and Paid final balance. I was sent confirmation of my 3hr window and 30 mins before the end of slot the driver calls and says they will not be delivering as they have been told to return to the depot. Bearing in mind I have tracked this on the live link I was sent and it showed they were on schedule for delivery. So as per email I have disposed of my old sofa awaiting arrival of new one and now been left with nothing as they cannot deliver till 28/07/2024. This is totally unacceptable and should have been a priority delivery for today as they failed to up keep the original delivery slot. Seems it's okay to let customers down at the last minute. Currently awaiting a manager call back but from my experience so far I won't hold my breath. Seriously makes me think twice about using or recommending DFS to anyone if this is how they treat customers.

Waited 12 Weeks For Delivery . Do Not Use!

12 weeks wait to empty the room in preparation for delivery. Wait 5 he's to be told it "could " be another 2 or 3 weeks befor3 it's delivered as M6 has traffic delays. Really...

contacted the next day to resolve. We were not. Rang to query the following day. Told it was in hand & we'd be contacted shortly l, we were not. Rang again told contact would be within 72 hours. It wasn't. Rang again to escalate which simply involves the call centre messaging the department that has failed to contact us already. Utter clown show. Each time you phone a different excuse is provided as to why you've not been contacted. Six days since delivery still no further forward.

Be aware, even though their website states :

Can you bring dogs to DFS?

Absolutely! As well as carrying a range of sofas in dog-friendly fabrics, we’re happy to welcome the whole family in our stores - including your dog! We want them to feel at home whilst you browse, so we don’t mind if they hop up onto the sofa with you. There are also water bowls and treats available to help them settle in.

They do not allow dogs in their stores !!

Poor Customer Service

When you spend 5k on a sofa and it is faulty abs they will ignore you even when the delivery driver agrees with you that it don't look right.

When you spend further money with them ( needed a reclyner due to disabilities can't no longer get on and off the sofa)

And then refuse to allow you to make changes to your order without charging you a bomb

Stay away from them they are greedy and inhuman

You Are Better Off Purchasing Your Sofas Elsewhere!

My experience with Enfield DFS has been less than satisfactory. Despite contacting the sofa company before my warranty period ended, I have not received any resolution to my issue even after following up multiple times since 2023. I found the customer service representative, Fireil to be unhelpful and impolite during our interactions. As a result, I do not recommend purchasing sofas from this vendor, and I hope that my feedback can be used to improve the quality of service provided to customers in the future. You are better off purchasing your sofas elsewhere.

Has anybody purchased the Dazzle cornersofa and had problems with the seat padding going flat?

I have a four seater enchanted sofa which was supplied with two middle legs. When I have fitted these they are about 3inches off the floor plus they are plastic and ruin the look of the sofa. My question is, are they necessary? If so, should they be touching or close to the floor?

DFS is no good and should be avoided at all cost I bought from them and it came in extremely poor condition like a second hand so my advice would be not to buy from them

Our new sofas arrived with 2 tears in them. We contacted the store within 5 mins of the sofas being delivered. Someone has been out and said they are natural tears? What? And repaired them. You can see where they've been repaired and look like within a few months they will open up again. We are not happy with this and want a complete replacement. DFS say they don't do this. But can give us some money back or recover the arms where the tears are. As far as I'm concerned this is then a reconditioned sofa not a new one. Also wrong legs delivered with one of the sofas and waiting for replacements to be delivered. Where do we stand on getting a replacement? Any help appreciated.

ombudsman is no good they will only review if the store is at fault and ask them to repair it.

contact CAB who can report it to trading standards. otherwise there is nothing else you can do because DFS dont want used sofas returned unless you use the county court

Hi, Don't know if you can help but I have been asked to go and pick up a 3 setter, 2 setter and a chair from your Velocity range. Could you tell me if the backs remove so I would be able to get into my van as it is a large suite ?

Hi

My suite from DFS is the leather pavililion 3 seater bed settee and a recliner. I had mine delivered direct from DFS to my caravan. They had no problems getting it in. Through the standard caravan door, which is actually the same size as my front door on my house. No parts came off, but they did unscrew the legs to get it in. I made sure the lounge was fully clear of anything restrictive though. Hope this helps.

Love my DFS corner sofa had it for over 2 years never had a problem. Only recently my cushions have been going mouldy. I've kept this sofa clean and clean it regularly. It's going to keep returning! I feel my sofa is ruined. Will DFS replace my sofa?

Hi there I am sorry that I can not answer your question but from what I see this is a solid piece of furniture and does not look as if the backs could be removed.
