For The Home Owner That Does Small Jobs Occasionly
For the home owner that does small jobs occasionly, it's a very good product and holds up well. My battery needs replacement, but it has lasted 7 years. I really can't complain about it.

If You Want To Drill Things, Get An 18 Volt Or 24
If you want to drill things, get an 18 volt or 24 volt. These aren't much use at drilling, but if you want to do a bit of casual screwing; say up to an inch and a half screw into a rawplug, then the Black & Decker 12V Cordless Drill Driver is a practical drill for that job. There isn't immense power here, but it's still quicker than a screwdriver. You can probably find bigger drills cheaper and better, but I won't knock this one.

Black & Decker 12v Cordless Drill Driver: It Is Ac
Black & Decker 12V Cordless Drill Driver: It is actually cheaper to buy a new full kit on offer (often with 2 batteries, essential) than to get a new charger or 1 new battery.
I'm not sure how much better the firestorm range is. Black & Decker seem better but I think the even better makes outlast.

Black & Decker Drill Driver Need A Drill And Batte
Black & Decker Drill Driver need a drill and battery to last. I burned up ten drills this year. And the cordless drill didn't burn up just it charger. Maybe if the life of the battery was longer I could tell you more about the drill.
