When i first tried woodpecker cider i thought i was in heaven, that sweet necter flushing down my esophagus was just the best feeling ever.
Woodpecker cider isn't just any old cider, it was made by the legend Percy Bulmers in 1894. Now some say Percy was a bit of a genius, and they would be correct.
Now you can buy woodpecker cider in some pubs for about £2.50 a bottle, or go to bookers and get 24 bottles for like £14, bargain.
One night when i was drinking woodpecker cider about 15 stunning looking ladies came up to me and asked what that fine beverage i was drinking was. I said woodpecker cider, now after they all sucked me off for drinking this fine drink they all went and got one themselves.
So all in all, its got to be the best drink in the world, oh after woodchuck cider anyways.

It is a great drink! It tastes nice, and you won't get too drunk. It can get slightly tasteless after a lot, but it's quite cheap, and I think it is a good drink for people who have never drank alcohol before, and Wood[pecker cider has got to be better than Frosty Jack, that all the younger kids are drinking.

Firstly, Woodpecker cider is a mass produced, heavily processed commercial cider that has lost the traditional aspects from older more finer ciders. The aspect ratio is of a clear yellow that is a direct result of excessive industrial refining, including carbonation (intensifying the gas content). For me this has practically killed what cider was once famous for...it's cloudy appearance from the sediment content of the apples!!
My preference is 'Biddendens' - it has a higher percentage of finer cider apples, and exposes a much fuller bodied flavour on the palate.

The added sweetener is not defined. Is it aspartame, a neuro toxin and carcinogen, about to be banned in New Mexico, or Stevia a healthy sweetener? Who the heck allows such sloppy labelling laws. Bought my bottle of Woodpecker in Vienna, and won't open it till I find out.

Wrong - Aspartame has not found to be safe, only the Americans and FDA say its safe because Donald Rumsfeld has a big interest in it. It is a neurotoxin and highly carcinogenic, you carry on drinking it.
It changes to Benzine in the gut which is highly carcinogenic

To me there is no real point in drinking Woodpecker Cider as it doesn't have any effect on you. (I like to feel a bit tipsy at least)A choice between Coffee and this - give me a cup of coffee.

I like the taste of Woodpecker, however the problem is that it just isn't strong enough. 3 litres of the stuff does not get me even remotely tipsy. It can be very refreshing chilled like lemonade though.
