Weetabix Weetos

I have been trying to teach my children a little food sense, cost, taste value and most importantly the composition. I researched 24 cereals including weetos and some oats cereals to. The calories per serving, sugar, fat, saturates and salt. In my opinion i found Weetos to be the top cereal when i took into account all these factors.They had the lowest amount of calories and sugar among all of the cereals except the fat, sat fat and salt was slightly higher than Sugar Puffs so they came second as their calories are very low but obviously a little higher than Weetos. I would then say Ready brek/chocolaty come next as a hot oat cereal and lastly i would say Porridge. I was amazed by what i found when researching what all these cereals contained. Looking at this cereal i would say most people would buy it as a treat cereal because it looks more like a luxury and in all honestly it does not look like it is that good for you, it looks like it is full of calories, fat and sugar. It goes to show that the old saying of don't judge a book by its cover is actually true of this product. I am not saying this product looks bad, far from it, in fact this product looks like you want to dive in and swim with the things.

It can seem like it is costly for the amount you get and many people may overlook this cereal due to that fact and due to their perception of it not being/looking a good or healthy cereal. I am not claiming this is such a product, i am saying that if you are giving your children many of the other cereal, leading, or otherwise, then maybe you need to check the composition as i have done and your findings should be just the same as mine,it is better/lower on the calories, sugar, fat, sat fat and salt and i know what i would prefer to give my children. The added bonus of this cereal is you need to use half as much as many other cereals due to the fact it swells up so it will last longer and it also keeps you full for quite a time and kids love so really no bad points except it is not full of masses of goodness but does have thiamin riboflavin and niacin but with 5 a day the children should get all the essentials they need from them.

Try to get them when they are on half price or a bogof deal and you will save even more money...go Weetos.

Weetabix Weetos are yummy tasting hoops, definitely buy again!

Weetos are a delicious cereal, which taste especially good if you haven't eaten them for a while. More of a subtle chocolate flavour than Coco Pops for example but equally tasty and sweet. The only problem, as with many other cereals is that it goes soggy quite quickly upon which the taste is definitely not as appealing.

Weetabix Weetos cereal is great tasting like chocolate, crunchy and shaped in rings. The box attracts you because is colourful.
