Mars Bar

If the bar gets any smaller then not worth buying greedy company.

Mars bars have got smaller and smaller over the years. They use to have thick rippling chocolate on top ad the ends were thick with chocolate.

Aldi Titan bars resemble the old Mars bar and taste better for a tenth of the price of the rip off stingy Mars bar they sell today.

This bar has brought me lots of pleasure through out the years. The new Mars protein is the best protein bar if tasted.

The latest mars bar in the multipack appear even smaller than previously and the balance of layers in the bar is so poor that they are indistinguishable.

Better option would be to buy a bar of chocolate for your chocolate fix, Mars have reduced the size of the Mars bar far too much to save on cost.

I have noticed a significant change in the Mars Bar recently and I'm not talking about the reduction in size (however this is a likely to lead to more double, treble and multi-packs being purchased giving greater profit to the company and creating greater obesity and a failure to address health issues!).

The taste and texture has changed with the chocolate being softer and with less of a chocolate taste (is this as a result of less cocoa content?). The nougat is also softer and with less flavour and as for the caramel, horrible! It sticks to your teeth and is very sweet and sickly with an unpleasant after taste. I'm not impressed! Having tried it a few times now and having been left feeling rather sick for quite a while afterwards, I've decided a Mars bar is no longer for me. In fact the quality of chocolate bars appears to have dropped significantly recently and I'm now looking at buying chocolate from small artisan conpanies, a few of which I have tried recently and found to be far superior to the mass produced products. I recently tried the new protein Mars bar and although better than many, I've found a high protein chocolate bar that is much more pleasant to eat and comparable in price so goodbye Mars!

Mars bars have been helping me have the energy to do a 10 hour a day, 6 days a week roster on the farm.

A Mars a day really does help one work, rest and play.

- especially when one does all the work I do.

I was compelled to write a review after trying and finding, the mars protien bar to be the nicest protien bar I have ever tried.

Doctors often tell me I need protien bars and shakes because of all the work I do I find it hard to eat enough.

But these protien bars and shakes always taste terrible!

So when I saw this Mars protien bar the other day I thought "Why not try it? And if it's really bad, have an ordinary Mars bar to take the taste away."

And it wasn't bad at all!

Still ate the back up Mars bar - mum always used to say never waste what you've paid for...

It is too sweet.. it'd 50g per serving, and the sugar content is 30g, what did i buy? a chocolate bar or a sugar bar? tastes utterly like diabetes!

Downsize the size of this family favourite quite drastically and still charge the same if not more for the child size adult bar. Again mars go and do one, stop ripping people off I haven't purchased any of your products for years since you started cutting down the product sizes and never will again...The sooner everyone else does the better.

I like alot of people have a sweet tougth and find it sad that the cost of such has gone up but normally stick to a multi pack and purchased a pack of Mars bars in my shopping only to discover the true size once opened they are now les than half the size i have now decided never to purchase any more we are all being taken for fools i will stick to cheaper brands from this day forward

I used to like it when I was a kid.But nowadays ,as an adult, I find Mars a bit too over-the-top on the sugar factor.Again,it can be a comforting treat once in a long while in celebration-size portions.Cutting back on all that cheap sugar and increasing quantity of cocoa may refine the product and remain tasty and comparitively healthier.
