Tasty. Helpful Friendly Staff

Fabulous food, service and staff. I've yet to be able to fault anything. I even called them at 5.50am one morning and spoke to someone! So far I am unable to fault this company.

Spuds, Spuds, Spuds !

Overall the meals are good but with one major exception. The so called 'Roast Potatoes' are horrible. I wish they could change them to those like the ones in ready meals from Marks & Spencers & Birds Eye; like freshly cooked & crisp roast potatoes.

I usually throw out their 'roast spuds' & replace them with either mashed potato or nice roast potatoes I have cooked separately.

Warmed up and tough roast spuds are not good.

Agreed ol chum, I tend to take the potatoes out and don't microwave them but air fry them and they are much better, shame about the quality of other meals.

Don't Care Customer Service

I would not rely on WFF processing and delivering food. 87 year old left without food over a weekend. Customer service could not care less.

Aweful

Had a a mixed box before which was a disappointment. Due to a recent mail shot telling me that recipes had improved. Wish I had not bothered All cooked as per instructions but all tasteles, Chicken tough Chips and Roast Potates inedible Lamb dinner did not look smell or taste of Lamb. I have submitted a complaint to WFF as they claim 100% satisfaction.

Don't bother Supermarket ready meals often better value and you can add extra vegb them.

Got to work or what to do with the ones I have left so I don't want to waste food or money.

Wish I had checked out other reviews here

Beyond Bad!

As I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and getting around is becoming more problematic, I decided to get some of Wiltshire Farm Food products. I actually find it hard to believe they are still in business! It can only be that its customers have no other choices available to them. The first meal I ate, well didn't other than taste, was Lamb with veg. What kind of animal produces an oval shaped piece of meat, three to be precise, exactly the same size, smooth edges, and with a rubbery texture that made it almost impossible to chew. The potatoes, were tasteless, again with an odd texture, and the veg, well it was veg, not fresh, little cubes of carrot again, all the same size ... it was a less than satisfying event, I ate a couple of mouthfuls and it went into the bin and I made some toast. I decided next day to try the Ocean Pie, thinking I had invested in this stuff, so should press on .... This was not quite as bad an experience as the 'oval' lamb, but again pretty awful. The Ocean Pie, was a thin layer of potato, with an even thinner layer of some kind of fish in sauce. The thin layer of fish, was quite chewy and unseasoned and frankly again went into the bin after a mouthful or two. Veg again, peas and little cubes of carrot, one would think you couldn't go wrong with this, well they managed to, as the veg was swimming in liquid .... I am going to go for the hat trick tomorrow and try the Macaroni Cheese !! BTW I ordered some puddings, and would advise that you avoid these also. A thin block of some indescribable something or other, in a pool of bland custard ... not good, trust me.

My Toliet Will Never Be The Same

I've tried a week's worth of WFF hearty meals and during the week my toilet really suffered and infact, after a week it waved the white flag at me begging for me to stop eating this muck. After a week on Tesco's finest, my Toilet loves me again, no more need for VI Poo.....

So, for a nice healthy loving Toilet, avoid WFF meals !.

A fine review, and, an honest one, the meal plans really are minging at best. best Avoid and either do Tesco's or push the boat out and do Sainsbury's, trust me friends, you will be glad you did.

At first, I sniffed at this report ( excuse the pun ), but, having tried WFF meals for a week, I can only agree, horrible nasty muck that treats your stomach to a rampage of nasty foul waste disguised as hearty meals.

Simply put, NASTY, FOUL, DISGUSTING STUFF TO AVOID, I know it's horrid but honestly, I'd rather eat my dogs mess.

Awful

I had several meals from Wilshire farm foods, and the first order was good ,after that every subsequent order was really awful, the meals were at best bland tasteless garbage of late, to at worst made me so I'll from severe food poisoning I felt like I was dying, thank God I didn't give my elderly mum any of these or I dread to think what could've. happened, I wouldn't give their meals to my worst enemy, I'd advise avoid at all costs

Nasty

I ordered some,of these meals for my mother when I was going away for a few days. She said she enjoyed them so I made a further order. Oh yuck, I am totally disgusted with these supposedly healthy meals. What rubbish is this?

I noticed on the packaging that they are the same meals that meals on wheels deliver. If this rubbish is meant to keep people healthy then I'm a china man.

Now every time I see Fern Brittan advertising these, I wonder if she's actually ever eaten one.

As others have said, I'd rather eat Iceland ready meals.

Disappointed.

Ordered to try for my parents. Tried a couple of meals myself first. Thank goodness I did - very poor quality & would have been an insult to have given them to my parents. Supermarket ready meals far better.

Wish I Had Read All Reviews-apl To June 17 Before Ordering

Have tried WFF before, but disappointed with quality of meals and taste. When the new brochure came out I was asked to try WFF again as meals had been improved with more varieties. Sadly I wished I had not bothered. From the delivery of ten meals from Gainsborough-Customer no: F028-C040068 only one was excellent! Meal 506 lacked taste, had a flat flabby yorkshire pudding and very chewy carrots. Meal 214 had only a few pieces of steak, and that was gristle, and the carrot was far too sweet. Meal 507 was reasonable but lacked any taste. Meal 759 the veg was hard despite long cooking time, and was tasteless. Meal 264 the rice was excellent but hard to find chicken pieces, and so little curry sauce made it very dry. Meal 346 was microwaved (unlike the others) and although edible was so dry and tasteless. Meal 279 potatoes were excellent but carrot over sweet and the cheese sauce was so thin it resembled coloured water. Hunt the bacon? Just 2 tiny slithers. Meal 625

shows sliced carrots-after taking foil top off 2 whole carrots appeared with tops and tails on and tops were completely BLACK. Ruined the meal, but this could not be seen until after it was cooked! Meal 263 bland, lacked any taste., but content okay. Meal 679 with improved ingredients was excellent. Having sampled Marks & Spencer ready meals in between WFF orders, like for like, and at a similar price (although not delivered of course), confirms that M&S are far superior. Could I suggest that all management, directors, chefs, etc. sit down and eat a WFF meal and then compare it with M&S? I am aware that WFF offer to replace any meal that is not satisfactory, but what is the point of having a bad meal replaced by another bad meal? I am not seeking compensation, just reviewing a bad experience, and hopefully offering some constructive criticism which might improve your meals and SALES! I am now retired from a lifetime in sales and marketing, and know how important customer satisfaction is! There are a large number of adverse comments on Trust Pilot during the above period, so this is not just one isolated customer complaint!!! I would be very interested to hear your comments on this report, and will willingly discuss further if required.
