Enough Roughage Without This

forgot my lunch box today so headed to my local Dunnes stores and picked up a rustlers Mac, was half way through when i came across a blue plaster inside the burger, this is disgusting and should never happen in this day and age.

This thing could have been carrying any type of disease, there was traces of blood on this thing so was obviously covering a cut.

I have been a big fan of these but i will never touch one again.

Current Version Is Nicer Than Expected

Tried one a few years ago & was a little put off & the excess E numbers in the earlier version.

in an urge for a Big Mac this came along via Tesco

Cook as directed, but add 2 sheets of kitchen paper to stand it on & let the buns sit 30 sec in the air & they are less soggy

Cheese & sauce went on well if the burger slips around a bit as you bite with no onions

Needs SALT added & it's actually a tasty thick burger, no salt is how food is today, so if it tastes of nothing... ADD SALT!

the recipe now is still a little bit on the hmm chemicals still that help preserve it, but for 2 for £3 deal it's good value

will buy again

Rustler The Big One

I have now had this 3-days in a row for lunch. It's on offer at Tesco for £1.20

Great tatsing burger, but must be made right:

Remove meat from bun and microwave for 90 secs

Put Bun in toaster until golden

Im a fat so and so, so I pimp mine with buttered bun, burger meat, cheese and relish (supplied in packet), ripe tomatoe slices and mayo spread on the top bun.

Fan Bloody Tastic.

Share a portion of chip shop chips with a friend and cant be beat for a budget tatsy as hell lunch.

I Just Ate A Rustlers The Big One Bbq Rib Sandwich

I just ate a Rustlers The Big One BBQ rib sandwich thing and for the most part I enjoyed it. I'm not too keen on microwavable foods because I get the feeling they're so un-healthy but every once in a blue moon I don't mind yamming a rustlers. The taste of the food is satisfactory but with every rustlers product they have the same consistancy both the meat and bread wether it be a burger or the BBQ rib sandwich and I can't explain it but its there. the bread goes soggy in some areas the solid in others, the meat is quite chewy but tender at the same time, not an unpleasant experience but makes you wonder why. overall its not a bad snack, its quick, convenient and the quality is what you would expect from an affordable microwavable burger/sandwich. The food tastes ok and is satisfyingly filling. Bad points are it its cooked in a microwave, its probably quite unhealthy and sometimes after cooking the bread turns into biscuit.

This Is What It Is, A Super Fast Convinience Food,

This is what it is, a super fast convinience food, and as microwave burgers go it's a very good one. If you happen to have a McDonalds or Burger King handy then they would no doubt be better but for the rest of us getting in from the pub/ club this is a convenient and tasty alternative.

A New Treat When You Get In In The Early Hours. In

A new treat when you get in in the early hours. In the time it takes to feed the cat, I can have a Rustlers Big One Cheeseburger and a hot cuppa from my Tefal one cup, no searching for a pizza place and then waiting for it to turn up, the Chinese shut long ago, like before 12. Being a taxi driver and seeing and smelling what everybody you've had in your cab has had before you get home, they're ideal.

Most nights to listen to them discuss the next days dinner, the aroma of pizza, cooked chicken, kebab meat and a various concophany of different sauces, it's no wonder that the driver is hungry. You can't eat while you're out, some people might object to the smell of your food, or as it has happened before, they try to grab it for themselves, or it makes you tired after a long shift, so a 70 second ping is just about right to have before bed with a nice 3 & a half cuppa coccoa

If You Pay 98p For A 6oz Burger With Cheese And Sa

If you pay 98p for a 6oz burger with cheese and sauce, you shouldn't be expecting a gourmet meal. But that is the appeal of Rustlers burgers, the fact that as a cheap snack, they fill you up and satisfy your desire for "naughty" snack. In comparison to fast food restaurants, I have to say that the burger meat is not quite of the same standard as your Whopper, but it fills you up the same! The ingredients state that in the burger, 75% is Beef, an undisclosed amount less than 20% is beef fat and water, 5% is Soya Protein and so on... A burger that is made from at most 14% fat (typically described as 86% lean), is actually on the burger scale, very healthy. Any less fat, and the burger just wouldn't cook.So overall, you DO get what you pay for, but you do EXPECT it at such a cheap price.

Trying To Consume A Rustlers Big One Is Like Eatin

Trying to consume a Rustlers Big One is like eating a slightly damp door mat. The texture makes you want to eject it straight away, but the sogginess from microwaving it makes you try a couple more chews first. Big mistake! It was on further chewing that I discovered hard white gristle, which then made me throw the rest in the bin.

Let this be a lesson to anyone thinking of cutting corners and buying microwave burgers.
