Ibc Root Beer Is My Favourite Non Alcoholic Drink
IBC root beer is my favourite non alcoholic drink of all time. Unlike commercial root beers that you can buy in supermarkets in the UK (like Carters) it does not have a very sweet taste and it not overly carbonated, which is how authentic root beer is supposed to be (but I suppose it's down to preference). Even on my travels across the USA I did not find IBC as easily as I could find other brands such as A&W, I could usually only find it bars rather than supermarkets. It's just so refreshing and I find it easier to drink and a nice change compared to other carbonated drinks. I don't know if it's psychological but I am sure the experience is made better due to its rather majestic looking glass bottle! As I said, I've never bought it from a supermarket where I expect the price would be reasonable, but when I've had it in bars it seems very expensive (maybe the same price as a bottle of beer?) for a soft drink, especially compared the the usual soft drinks such as coke. But in my opinion you get what you pay for and I would much rather shell out for an IBC than have a coke any day!
