Best Loose Tea
Unfortunately not been available for a little while now, which is a great shame as nothing is as good. Would be grateful if anyone has found another tea which is near in flavour and could let me know .
I was sitting in a cafe in Saffron Walden of all places, and ordered a pot of tea, and on drinking it thought "This is it!". So I asked the cafe, and they sold me a box: Teapigs Everyday Brew! Funnily enough, nearly the same blend: Assam, Ceylon, and Rwandan. No longer feeling sad!
Typhoo reckon Glengettie is closest to the taste of Choicest. I haven't tried it but will today 29/2/16
Most Satisfying Cup Of Tea With A Loyal Following
Like many others, I and my family have been drinking this tea for decades and have not found another another tea that is as satisfying for everyday use, with its bright clean taste. A few years ago it disappeared from supermarkets but we were pleased to discover that it could be ordered direct from Typhoo and have been doing so ever since. A number of friends and relatives have have also become regular customers. It is a great shock to hear that Typhoo is no longer able to supply this blend. Does anyone know where to obtain something similar? Perhaps the time has come for enthusiasts of this style of tea to band together and find another supplier able to create a similar blend?
I took had been drinking this tea for 40 years, and was disconsolate when it was discontinued. But then recently, I was sitting in a cafe in Saffron Walden of all places, and ordered a pot of tea, and on drinking it thought "This is it!". So I asked the cafe, and they sold me a box: Teapigs Everyday Brew! Funnily enough, nearly the same blend: Assam, Ceylon, and Rwandan. No longer feeling sad!
What is your email address pls? I will pay you £50 per pack of unopened Brooke Bond Choicest Blend loose leaf tea. I live in Croydon but will travel UK to transact Bob Davies [email protected]
Best Tea Ever - Why Discontinue It?!
We have been drinking this tea for as long as I can remember - for at least 45 years. We have always gone out of our way to find it and buy it, as nothing else tastes the same. How many brands have that level of loyalty?! I have ordered it in bulk from Typhoo online shop for the past few years - for my family and also my parents. I was due to order another case and have just discovered that it has been discontinued!!! Please, Brooke Bond, bring it back again?! - I can't bear the thought of life without it, neither can the rest of my family.. How are we going to manage without it?

Campbell's perfect tea supplied by Robt Roberts of Ireland is very like it. It also comes in a lovely 500g tin as well as 250g packet.

Brooke Bond Choicest Blend Tea
Typhoo have just taken this off the market. When I ordered from the Typhoo Shop a couple of months ago they sent as much of my order as they still had in stock and wrote the following - "A heartfelt goodbye to Choicest Blend ...after so many years as a staple brand in Great British homes up and down the country, we are sad to announce that Choicest Blend will be retiring from our shelves once and for all. However, do not forget that here at Typhoo Tea Ltd. we have a whole portfolio of other high quality tea brands just waiting for you to try. Please accept our samples of Typhoo and Glengettie Loose Leaf Teas as recommended replacements for Choicest Blend"
Beckcf138, please could you provide your email address, Bob Davies [email protected]
We would also support this campaign. It is the best tea ever and we have been drinking it for 40+ years.
I would join this campaign!!!
Our entire family are devastated at the loss of this tea- life will never be the same agin! :(
Please is it possible to identify the email address of this reviewer? I want to start a campaign to get the tea into production again. It has been a strong product in Waitrose, Booths and Dobbies supermarket chains in the past and I believe a lobby group would have some success.

Brooke Bond Vhoicest Blend
I would wholeheartedly agree with other Choicest lovers: The tea is simply the best tasting but I would also add that the leaf tea is better than the tea bags and if used with a Whittard large plastic tea filter and teapot, the taste is sublime. Why is the tea discontinued when there are so many enthusiasts like us????Are you listening Typhoo?

Brooke Bond Choicest Tea
Best tea ever - my family has been drinking it for 50 years. If it is gone - tragedy ! What will we do ?

Brooke Bond Choicest Blend Tea Bags
I have been drinking only this tea for more than four decades. I and my family do not like any thing else except Choicest Blend. When I go on holidays I always take a box of this, because other tea's are not to my taste. I even take a box every time I go to India (coal to New Castle)!!! We are addicted to this brand. For the last few times I got my supply from Typhoo, directly. But as my quota is going down, I need to replace my stock, but I am not getting any where, please help?
Please provide your email for a campaign with the Brand Manager. I will pay £50 per pack of loose tea to anyone who has some remaining. BobDavies, Croydon [email protected]

The Best Tea In Uk
This is is without doubt the finest tea in Britain. I am puzzled why this product is not more freely available in super markets etc.
it is however available from the Typhoo tea shop on-line.
Having enjoyed this fabulous blend, do yourself a favour and use the tea in its loose leaf form - the taste is amazing!
I only have one pack left which I am saving for that special occasion, so I have none for sale
The Typhoo directors are cretins, they don't know what they have deleted. Proably coffee drinkers. Obviously not drank Choicest Blend. How can you not find a matrket for the best blend tea on the planet?
What is your email address? Are you interested in flogging a pack of loose tea for £50? I can go a bit higher and will travel from Croydon.
I'll pay you £50 per pack of loose tea if you are happy to sell.I live in Croydon. Bob Davies [email protected]
Please can you give me your email address. I want to pull all enthusiasts onto one email to Typhoo to let the brand Manager know of the sadness and ;likely market for the reinstated tea.
Hello I have written to the new Chief Excutive Officer and the the two directors responsible for distribution/sales complaining about this superb tea being withdrawn. I have also tried to get some support on Twitter but not really into Twitter.
Count me in for any action planned to get this tea reintroduced. The CEO/sales directors address on the typhoo site.
I have only 5 packs left from my last case.

Best Tea On The Market, But A Tricky One To Find
I've drunk it for 20 odd years and it used to be available in Waitrose though sadly no more. Does anyone know where you can get it reliably?

Q&A
Have used BB choicest blend for ever & its the best loose leaf tea by far. When it wasn't available from supermarkets anymore we purchased it via the website. With stocks running low I went to place another order to find that it has been discontinued. Does anyone know if this is short term or forever? Anyone seen any left in any shops?
If Brooke Bond Choicest Blend Tea is not available in the US, is there any vendor who has stock and is willing to ship product to the US? This is in addition to my previous question about availability of this tea in the US.
Thanks
suggest you contact unilever customer care. They should be able to tell you where you can buy it in the States. Kind regards.
Where in the US can I purchase this tea, one of my favorite beverage?
Thanks
