Different Taste
Since the shortage of glengetti me and my family have noticed that they don't taste the same anymore.... we had a box left before the shortage and put it next to one bought after and they are completely different. We repeated it on a number of occasions with same result. Typhoo need to explain this...
Finest Black Tea
This is, without a doubt, the finest black tea I've ever tasted. I first had it at a tea shop in Wales, and then another, and another - it appears to be extremely popular there, and I can see why now. My water is quite hard, and I believe this tea was designed for softer water, but it's still delicious.
Refreshing Tea
Starting using this tea only this year and I’m 65 and I find it more refreshing that what used to buy, I have recommended it to people as well.

Typhoo The Owners Of The Glengettie Tea Are Mean.
Having been Glengettie tea drinkers for nearly 20 years we were very disappointed by the attitude and actions of the company about a faulty batch of tea we bought.
We purchasesd a 480 bag lot from Amazon to find that more than half of them were split and unusable . We contacted Glengettie and were asked for the batch numbers and to send samples of the bags plus silver foil wrappers. They then contacted us to say that there was a production fault and that we would be compensated
The compensation consisted of £10 of vouchers we could only be spent in stores and not on line.
As all Glengettie users know it is almost impossible to find them in stores and as the vouchers can only be used against Typhoo products none of which we use they are a waste of space and don't even cover the cost to us.
SHAME ON YOU TYPHOO.

Glengettie Tea Now Very Poor Quality, Undrinkable
"Have used Glengettie tea for many years, always been happy until now. I bought a box of 80 tea bags expiry date June 2018 this week and the quality is so bad I can't drink it - it looks almost normal when brewed but is so weak and bland/tasteless that it is unusable. I have emailed Glengettie about this but no reply. If they don't resolve this problem very quickly they will certainly have lost me as a customer and probably anyone else who buys the latest batch."

Better ! Than Any Other Tea Around
A friend reccomended this brand of tea some time back, ever
Since I tried it. I have never gone back to pg or tetleys again.
It realy is the BEST TEA I have ever tasted, I am a chef and hence
A good tase bud. If I was the founder/owner of this brand I would post
1 tea bag to every house in the uk. after trying this tea, they will never
Go back to those tasteless tea bags again.
Thank you glengettie for your delicious tea

Ps sorry for any english grammar error's.
My Favourite Tea
I like strong breakfast tea with milk, and I have never come across a better blend than Glengettie. It isn't always easy to find but Lidl stock it these days. Some teas have barely enough in the bag to make a strong brew, but Glengettie have no problems with flavour.

Water
Glengettie tea is marketed and designed to be drink with the softer welsh water. if you are drinking Glengettie in London then you are not going to enjoy the full flavour, as it will be distorted by limescale. i hope this helps all you who dont understand the magical wonders of Glengettie tea.

Me Again (the One Being Mean About The Tea). I Jus
Me again (the one being mean about the tea). I just wanted to say I was too harsh on the tea the first time so I wanted to write a nicer review!
Well I have been drinking this tea every day since I bought it (a week ago) and I guess it has grown on me a little bit.
I still stand by my comment that it's certainly not one of my favourite teas and that (for me) it does not have any particularly special taste (hence my earlier comment bland) unlike some other teas where I really do enjoy the flavour.
BUT, its not really that "bitter" as I had wrongly said before. I think that was a misjudgement and exaggeration to be honest. Its a decent tea otherwise I would have thrown it out but I am still drinking it and it does the job that tea is meant to do (refreshing etc) so its not really so bad as I had said.
I guess I will upgrade it to a 3 star average tea! Still would not recommend it to a friend though as its not one I myself am likely to buy again in a hurry.

I Guess I Am Alone Here But I Don't Get All The Fu
I guess I am alone here but I don't get all the fuss of this tea on this review site at all. I tried it (totally unbiased before reading any reviews - I just saw it in tesco and decided to try it)
It's an ok tea, nothing more. I prefer for example twinings traditional english, pj tips, tetley...basically this is one of my LEAST favourites of black teas I have tried to be honest.
I suppose maybe whatever it is that everyone else loves about it could be the thing I dislike about it. It just seems not that nice a flavour to me.
To me it is not "smooth" or "full bodied" as these are things I would associate with a tea that had a mild yet rich distinct flavour. I would call this the opposite. Kind of bitter and yet quite bland.
I tried brewing it 4 mins, 2 mins, 1 mins and always nothing special.
