Heinz Curry Beans

Do Heinz take any notice of these reviews? I, too, enjoyed the original curried beans with sultanas for the best part of half a century. I loved them as a kid, took them to work for my lunch as a working adult and, now that I'm retired, I would still like to enjoy them as a healthy and enormously tasty high fibre snack. The new variety is not as good. If it ain't broke, why fix it?

Please, please, go back to original ingredients with sultanas its far superior than this inedible garbage.

Why did heinz change the original recipe ? I've loved the original curried beans since I was a young boy. This new recipe is just awful and tastes like beans with washing up liquid.

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL PLEASE!! Will also try and make my own but not with heinz beans. The other supermarket branded curry beans are equally as bad.

These beans are tasteless,a poor imitation of a product I used to love. I have contacted Heinz and they state they're not going to revert to the original recipe. I therefore am not going to buy them, Branston beans with some sultanas and some curry powder make a better curry bean. I have had to leave 1 star because I can't leave negative rating.

Why did Heinz need to reinvent our old favourite Curried Beans? When I was at work I always kept a tin of them in my locker and would eat them cold " on the go" if I didn't have time for a proper lunch. The new ones are tasteless and the sauce is runny, there are no sultanas and I have only found them in large tins.

Iv been enjoying original curried beans since i was a little boy and now they have decided to ruin the recipe. I no longer buy Heinz beans at all now the tescos brand taste better than Heinz original beans so I buy them now. Nice one Heinz you're losing customers, sort it out.

I have been enjoying heinz curried beans for at least 30 years, the new product is a very inferior replacement. Insipid taste, no sultanas, not worth buying. Why tamper with what was such a brilliant and satisfying recipe I do not know. Keep scouring shops for old product but no luck.

New recipe tastes like much cheaper brands. There is nothing I can say I like about it.

THE RECENT HEINZ CURRIED (CURRY) BEANS ARE OF A DISGUSTING TASTE AND QUALITY COMPARED TO THOSE I HAVE ENJOYED FOR OVER 30 YEARS. ONE WONDERS WHY PEOPLE ARE, PRESUMABLY, PAID MONEY TO RUIN A HITHERTO TASTY AND QUALITY PRODUCT. I CAN ONLY AGREE WITH OTHER CRITICISMS THAT HAVE APPEARED CONCERNING THE INGREDIENTS, OR LACK OF THEM, IN THIS AWFUL PRODUCT. WILL NOT SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY PLEASE RETURN THESE BEANS TO THEIR ORIGINAL EXCELLENT CONDITION?

Heinz Curried Beans seem to have disappeared. Have they stopped making them? There is a new product Heinz Curry Beans in a large tin which presumably are intended to replace them, but they are awful. Please scrap the new product and bring back the original.

These current version as of Jan 2013 are very disappointing!

Been eating the small tins with sultanas since I was 6! They still went well with a lasagne or canneloni

but the current version is awful.

look at the tin of any other Heinz beans or spaghetti, these have TWICE the sugar.

they barely taste of curry & once added a bit of curry powder in all it tasted of was the high sugar & I gave up

yet another old favourite now inedible

hardly healthy with TWICE THE SUGAR either.
