Bought the Turf and grass seeds for my home garden. It's a fresh lawn turf with premium quality. Product delivered safely and well packed. Shipping process is very fast and reasonable price. Also, customer support service is amazing. They are very attentive and helpful.

Great to have dealt with Dandy's throughout lockdown. Really helpful team. Socially distanced delivery and really great topsoil for my veggie patches.

Bought recently enriched ProGrow topsoil. It was supposed to be 5mm screened. Firstly there were lots of big stones, secondly it wasn't soil at all. It was brown/greyish sand. I will not put in my garden, complete waste of money.

We bought a bag of Dandy's VegeGrow® Topsoil for vegetables for a brand new raised planter. The bag cost £104.90. I sowed seeds but the planter was soon full of pigweed. I read the smallprint regarding the fact that you cannot guarantee organic compost is free of seeds. However, the planter was so full of the weeds, which grew very quickly to be very large, and which overpowered everything I had planted, that the only option was to remove everything from the planter. The problem was not with the packets of seeds themselves, as they thrived elsewhere in the garden. On the other hand, where I have put some of the compost elsewhere, it too was full of the weed.

I accept that it is not possible to screen for all weeds in the compost - but there was not a square inch in the soil which did not contain this particular weed. My only option was to remove all the compost from the planter in case it contains seeds from the weeds. I wrote a complaint to Dandy's but they did not have the decency to reply. I was going to order more bags .. but not again with Dandy's.

Great product, my veggies are coming on great. I highly recommend this product and company. Despite a very challenging time this company delivered my order on time.

The delivery driver kept to social distancing and was polite courteous and very helpful. Superb service and will definitely order from you again, I'll certainly spread the word as to how brilliant you are.

I was very pleasantly surprised by just how rich and black the compost looked, all planted up in our green house now! Very nice compost to deal with. We will definable use them again in the future.

Really so very pleased with the service and goods I received from Dandy's. The staff were extremely helpful advising me on a number of queries and delivery was make the next day, lifted over the hedge straight into my garden.

Although the price was cheap enough anyway I actually received a 20% discount on one of their super saver flash sales which made the topsoil I purchased an absolute bargain.

Really just very pleased and would not hesitate to order again.

This company go above and beyond for the local community as well which is something I really commend.

Firstly lets put this into perspective, I am a qualified horticulturalist and have been working in the industry as a landscaper for over 35 years. Just so you know I am not a disgruntled amateur. In the main the service for all the other products I ordered was spot on and I would recommend that you buy these, Soil, Bark and Gravel.

Turf - The so called premium turf was ragged, thin and brown, I wasted over a quarter of it.

Their response was I'm sure it will turn out fine, they missed the point completely, the turf I knew was laid correctly and would turn out okay. A lawn is down for a long time and you should start with the best

Order a lot more than you need and expect to go to the tip with the rest and be frustrated when you pick it up an it falls apart.

In retrospect I shouldn't have signed for it, but id popped out so missed the delivery.

Bad service. I ordered two extra-large bags of slate on line and requested a delivery date when I made the order.

After a number of days I contacted Dandy’s to confirm they were delivering on the planned date and they said yes, I also requested on the phone if I could have it delivered earlier if possible and they said they would phone me back … which they did not 

The day before the planned delivery date I contacted Dandy’s to confirm they were still coming as I have arrange for someone to move the slate the next day due to my bad back, at a cost of £60. On the phone call they advised me it was not coming for another week as I paid for free delivery. I told them I phoned 5 days prior and Dandy’s gave me there word it would be delivered on the date we planned. They informed me they would phone me back.

Guess what … no phone call …. What a nightmare… I am out of pocket for £60 and still don’t have a delivery date.

Guess what I would never use this company again ….

I specifically called and ask if they combine delivery and was told 'Not possible' because they will ship my order on two pallets even though additional items where 5 bags of mushroom compost. Well it arrived on one pallet. Poor business practice… I paid £46 for delivery by the way
