Have been going to homeleigh garden centre for many years and I would like to say that the quality of goods sold there now in my opinion are terrible and the cost of these cheap made items for me to buy I find very over the top and the same can be said for there on site café.

This is my local garden centre and I have to say that after living in Cornwall for well over 20 years now I can honestly say this is the best one around.

I found the prices are exceptional and the amount of stock is incredible. The tree & shrub area is immense and has virtually everything you may need. The staff are very knolegable and gave me some great advice on a which apple tree is best situated in my garden.

I have been to hundreds of garden centres in my life and always return here because I know the service and prices offered are the best.

I have also bought a pond liner from the aquatics department, the staff in that department really did help with the set-up and talked me through all the different options available to me.

If you are in the area please pop in because it really does deserve a full day out!

At Homeleigh Garden Centre the plants are overpriced and the same as all the other big centres really. Many are bought in so are just the common plants you can find elsewhere cheaper. The trees are too close together and are therefore pulled up so are not a very nice shape. Their onion sets were absolute rubbish-half of them were rotted away so I bought elsewhere. The sheds, animal runs etc look poor quality for the price asked and do not look like they would last very long. There sre some nice ornaments, lots to look at and the food hall has some nice stuff but again some of it a bit pricey. I would recommend going to a smaller nursery if you are a serious gardener.
