Checkout Staff
Although I consider the product range and quality is very good I find a number of the staff at checkout unhelpful, bordering on just rude. I would suggest some customer care training is required.
Dont Expect Any Warranty
Purchased a petrol lawn mower 7 months ago for £250, it had to be returned twice within 1 week! 7 months later the lawnmower stopped working completly, I have been met with very rude customer service by the manager and have had to pay for the repair even though it is still under the years warranty!
Take my advice and unless you want a nice but over priced lunch head elsewhere!

I Have Shopped At Perrywoods For Years And Watched
I have shopped at Perrywoods for years and watched it grow from a small nursery into the extensive garden shopping centre that it is today. Yes some things are a bit pricey but there are also lots of reasonably priced items too. The restaurant is brilliant! Really super, lovely food. There is a huge range of healthy plants and I have always found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable.

I Tried To Get 12 Bags Of Compost Delievered To M
i tried to get 12 bags of compost delievered to my home which is 3-4 miles away.. but because the amount came under 100.00 pds.. they would not do it.very bad customer service. i will not be going there again.

I'm sorry you felt this was bad service. We do try and deliver goods when we can but because of rising costs of fuel and running a vehicle we cannot deliver to everyone like the larger retailers can.
We only deliver very bulky and or heavy items and charge £5 to £25 according to location, with the delivery charge needing to be at least 10 percent of the cost of the item(s) being delivered. So, for example, we would charge £25 for deliveries to the Chelmsford area but would only deliver to this area if you spend £250 or above.

The Best Garden Centre I Have Ever Been To. Fantas
THE BEST GARDEN CENTRE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Fantastic prices, Huge selection, everything you could possibly want for your garden and conservatory.All the plants,shrubs and trees are clearly marked, so its easy to find what your looking for. After my purchase we had lunch and the home baked cooking was delicious. Gave me lots of ideas for Christmas presents, so I will definately be going back. SO glad we found the place.

Perrywoods is a lovely garden centre, stock most plants which have always grown well. Gift shop with lots of lovley bits, good for pressies, especially at christmas. Some items a bit pricey but many nice bits for reasonable price. Coffee shop good too, proper homemade food. Excellent place for lunch or afternoon tea! Worth a vist.
