Scotsdales Garden Centre, Great Shelford, Cambridge

We have loved scotsdales shelford but NO LONGER , they have removed many disabled parking bays, with no care for needs of disabled people to park , we visited today could not park because previouse disabled parking bays are now selling space ,a real slap in face for disabled customers no respect no consideration, how could they treat disabled customers in this way , its not worth wasting your time attempting to park at scotsdales shelford..

Amazing service, customer service lady checked stock - confirmed available at another site, the delivery man just happened to be going to this site, so paid for at 1000 am on a Monday morning, unbelievably in my garage delivered by 1130 same day, this was great timing and luck perhaps.. but just brilliant.. was thrilled with set when arrived having not seen it -only on line. 10 out of 10 especially to the customer service lady who made it happen.

My family has been visiting Scotsdales for over 30 years. We love it.

The food is good,the plants are quality and the staff are all very helpful and have a great deal of plant knowledge.

There is a wide selection of interesting goods to purchase,well priced animal food and a brilliant outdoor `wood yard` where you can get lots of landscaping materials at reasonable prices.

There is nothing that I don`t like about Scotsdales

I find my visits there very relaxing and consequently spend lots of time there!

Today my wife tried to order a tree that I really would have liked. The tree and new planter was £280, so not cheap. So sad to be told it would cost to many man hours. We have used this branch very often, 2 years ago we bought a huge Acer that was potted on by them but sadly not so this time. I should add the reason we asked for them to do it is because I am disabled, as they saw when I borrowed their mobility scooter yesterday when they reserved the tree for me. We spent a further £50+ then as well. I dread to think just how much we have spent their to be treated like that. Shameful.

I have shopped at Scotsdales ever since it opened, and I am now 70. Although I now live in Peterborough my family and I still visit once a week. The Centre is the best in the Country without any doubt. I have never had a bad word to say about it, have never received anything but corteous service. I love the place. Long may it continue.

The delivery service is awful. They promised to deliver stones for our garden between 9.00 - 13.00 which they didnot. When I called them to check why they were late, the staff member who had actually served us, claimed that he told us that they would deliver from 9.00 - 4.00pm. He changed delivery time to a later time. It is impossible that both my partner and I got deliverly times wrong!!! I had cancelled my plans..etc my day was all ruined cos I had to stay at home. Its a shame for such a well known garden centre to be careless in delivery services they offer their customers more over to a village that is less than 5 miles away. I will think twice to buy any heavier goods from Scotsdales Garden Centre again.

Scotsdales Garden Centre has excellent service, great range, new aquatics section excellent

We bought a set of furniture from Scotsdales Garden Centre, Great Shelford, Cambridge sunday before last. Service was excellent.furniture was well madeand good design. We got a good price and the guy who served us was extremely well mannered, polite and we liked the way he responded to our humour.

We had a roast lunch whilst we were there and this was excellent. We came from quite a distance and will certainly come again.

Scotsdales Garden Centre in Great Shelford, Cambridge is a reasonably good garden centre for most things - however when we bought conservatory furniture for delivery, the delivery service was very poor and the staff were extremely unhelpful, which has put us off buying from there again.
