Viking Petrol Shredder
A poor quality shredder with a lot of kick back. I would not recommend this piece of equipment to anybody.

Viking Garden Shredder
Paid over £800 for the GB370 and extremely disappointed with performance from the start. In dealing with woody material up to 20mm the blades blunted and serrated extremely quickly and failed to respond to re sharpening.
The chute is easily clogged even with straight woody material which needs to be fed singly despite the strong motor.
At £38 for 2 replacement blades each time I use it I will not be keeping this machine long - it is just not fit for purpose.

I Had Great Hopes For This Shredder, But Was Total
I had great hopes for this shredder, but was totally dissappointed. After less than an hour of use, gave it up as a bad job. Luckily I took it on a "hire before you buy basis" & needless to say will not be investing 700+ hard earned pounds in this item. The feed is a bit brutal & it will reject anything over 18-20mm unless forced to do otherwise, smaller twigs may pass through unmolested. These then tend to block the low outlet, causing the machine to stall- in my case 3 times in less than an hour.
To achieve anything like a mulching material, requires the output to be reshredded several times, a tiresome business.
Despite its' Stihl pedigree, this machine is not worth shed space, which is about all it would have achieved had I bought it.
