Challenge Extreme Grass Trimmer 250W

Bought this as i was sick of the old one always jamming the line.

THIS ONE IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE, IT is a nightmare, constantly jamming the line, it spends more time upside down than strimming, I lost my receipt so stuck with it. I think the most it managed to cut was about 1 meter before jamming, I have reloaded the cartridge with more line and ensured it was not crossed or twisted in the spool but every time i turn it on it jams. I give it 1 star because it is a lovely green colour :)

got this strimmer on Thursday set it up first cut lasted about one metre second cut about half a metre third go it did all of six inches absolutely rubbish

I recently purchased this trimmer for my garden. I have to say that I am really impressed with it. I would really recommend this to everyone, even though with medium sized gardens.

Challenge Extreme 250w grass trimmer.

This is an incredibly cheap trimmer (£12.99 at Argos) and seems to be reasonable quality, certainly comparable with previous trimmers I've owned (a Black and Decker and a Flymo).

It's very easy to assemble out of the box, it's very light to use and very easy to extend the line when needed.

The line does break rather easily, but no more so than other trimmers I've had and my solution to this is to buy slightly thicker line, say 1.5mm.

The supply cable is too short (approx 5.7 metres) but this didn't bother me as I use the extension cable I've already got for my mower.

Not perfect, then, but the price certainly is and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
