Bosch Rotak 34Li Ergoflex Cordless

I bought one of these for my dad's yard a few years ago and it is still in perfect condition.

Got this when my old flymo finally gave up the ghost. Wish I had done it years ago!!

So easy to use, cuts even long grass effortlessly, easy tpo maneuver. Got the job done in a fraction of the time. Even the little fin things at the side work in a fashion.

Worth every penny

Purchased from B&Q Warehouse where they had priced it incorrectly so we got it for £199 instead of £279. This is the smallest model of the Rotak mower but our garden is over different levels with four separate lawns. Our old mower was a flymo with grass collection but it was really heavy and we were sick of getting the extension lead out and routing it through different windows to reach the back or front gardens. The Rotak battery is lithium so it holds its charge better than ordinary batteries. There is only one battery on this model. The mower was easy to assemble although we did get the handle upside down first time we tried. It takes about 90 minutes for a full charge but is 80% charged in 60 minutes. There are lights on the charger to indicate when it is full. We always charge it fully before starting. It cuts brilliantly and is so light it is easy to carry up the steps to the top of our garden. Even our son finds it easy to use without all the trailing cables. We tend to cut the two lawns at the back and then put it back on charge while we have a rest before doing the front lawns. I am so glad we purchased this mower - we had considered a petrol mower but it would have been too heavy. It used to take half a day to cut the lawns but with this mower the job is done within a couple of hours - and that includes getting it out and putting it away! If we had one large lawn we would have considered the bigger models but the expense might have put us off and in this case a petrol mower might have won.
