Keeps Cutting Out
Cuts ok but everytime the lawnmower knocks against something it stops and I have to reinsert the battery. Very frustrating and as all plastic pretty well impossible to repair.

Ergoflex? More Like Acheoflex!
I purchased the Bosch Rotak Eroflex 37Li to replace my aging petrol mower as I needed a lighter mower but didn't like the idea of trailing a mains electric cable with its inherent danger of getting cut and tangling around our plants.
The good points: It mows and collects the grass extremely well and the collection box fills right up without spilling back onto the lawn. It is light to use and carry, the rear roller works well and allows you to mow over the lawn edges which reduces the amount of edge trimming needed. It has good battery life and the recharge time is enough to let you have lunch before finishing off the last bit of lawn.
The poor (in my opinion) points: The so called "Ergoflex" handles actually mean that there is no truly comfortable position to hold it whilst mowing and this along with the "safety" switches that you have to grip to keep it running ensures that you end up with cramp and a grip like Tarzan. The instruction book clearly states that you should not stop the mower often as this will reduce mowing time, however, if as we do you have sloping areas to mow, when you loosen your grip to pull it up, it turns itself off! The interior design of the grass box is poor, it is very difficult to empty the box completely because of the various nooks and crannies in which the cuttings accumulate. The various red plastic fittings which I guess are the marketing department's delight, seem to be purposely designed to catch into your plants and shrubs as you mow, the clamps on the bars are particularly good at this and I have been told off by my wife for breaking her prized clematis! I have now moved these round so that they are on the inside of the handles but this still leaves the nuts protruding. The front wheels need deflectors to lift shrubs and flowers so that you can mow under them rather than pushing them down and under the cutters as they do now.
In conclusion I think that the good points outweigh the poor ones but I feel that the design team should include people who actually use lawnmowers in the real world. If they set out to design a lawnmower that looks like a formula one racing car, they've done a good job but racing cars don't mow lawns.

Waste Of Money
Bought Bosch Rotak 37LI under 2 years ago to mow medium size lawn. Attraction was no cable to worry about. Worked ok for the first mowing season. Second season plastic clip holding battery in place kept slipping, had to keep stopping to slot it back in place. Mower finally packed in all together earlier this year. Had battery checked but that was not the problem. Returned mower to Bosch as it was now out of guarantee.Quoted over £300 to repair machine ( I paid £200 for mower brand new). Asked them to return mower to me, mower arrived back in pieces. Have since bought a different make electric rotary mower which in comparison does a much better job. Will never by Bosch again.
I had the same problem. Took it to authorised reapairer and was quoted £300. I contacted the retailer and said I expected more than 2 years use from this machine. To my amazement they replaced it free of charge!

Great Product
Purchased the Bosch Rotak 37li last year. I was hesitant because I thought it may lack power but it has been a really good buy. It handles our front and rear lawns on one charge, approx 200 m2. Because there is no need to fuss around with cables you can cut the grass in at least half the time it used to take with a conventional cable electric mower. No sign of battery problems, at least so far. For the size of garden we have I would always buy this type of mower in future even though they are more expensive the convenience factor makes it worth the extra cost.

My Worst Purchase Ever!
This machine is recommended for 350m2. She takes not yet one third of this surface with a full battery. After one hour charge you can continue for the next 100m2 .. This is also what the manual says. But why isn't shown in the publicity. Will it become the end of sales of it? In my case this means 2 hours mowing of 300m2. Moreover, the knife width is also too small for the given surface and the grass container has to be emptied every 20 or 30m2. Really ... my worst purchase ever! Waste of money. An ex-adept Bosch
Wham bam thank you, ma'am, my qsuetions are answered!

The Bosch Rotak 37li Cordless Mower Is Very Portab
The Bosch Rotak 37Li Cordless Mower is very portable if you're elderly like me! No cables or pull cords to wrestle with. The fast charge is good too if you need to cover an area larger than the capacity of one charge. Only niggle is that the height adjustment is not user friendly and requires a fair bit of effort to get into the right height setting. It would also be helpful if they told you the life expectancy of the battery [hopefully 5 years plus as I was quoted £250 for a repacement!

I Purchased My Bosch Rotak 43li Online 2 Years Ago
I purchased my Bosch Rotak 43Li online 2 years ago. It has just coped with our size of lawn by using both batteries - really pleased we purchased the 43Li as it came with a spare battery, whereas the smaller lawnmower only has the one.
Giving the Bosch to my daughter has I have now purchased a Brill Evolution 36 EM Battery Lawnmower - lower cut and better battery

Where Do I Start?! I Was So Disappointed With Thi
Where do I start?! I was so disappointed with this Bosch Rotak 37Li Cordless Mower after reading some good reviews- NOT ONLY WAS THE CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTER VERY WEAK (SEEMS TO BE MADE OUT OF VERY CHEAP PLASTIC) but I found the cut to be messy and straggly and on damp grass the performance is awful! This mower struggles so much on damp grass that it practically drains the battery after about 15 minutes of mowing- definitely not suited to the British climate. All round disappointment- wish I'd spent a bit more on a quality machine.
Q&A
Bought the Bosch 37Li and paid a lot of money after which recommended. Used my lawn mower twice. Very impressed however. Every time I go over a bump it stops. I have to re insert the battery and it’s fine until the next time. Any ideas?
My Rotak 37Li will not work at the moment. It was fine last time I used it. The battery charges as usual and shows the 3 green lights and beeps when it is charged. When I try to switch the machine on - there is a soft click but it doesn't start.
Is there anything we can try? How do you know if the fuse has blown in the isolator key?
