Gutless ....
If your grass is half an inch high and bone dry, this machine is perfect. Fact is that the real world isn't like that. Give it anything more to do, and it just bogs down - the motor is massively underpowered. It's also ridiculously heavy. Avoid.
Underpowered
While the mower is convenient to use, it is underpowered. On one week's growth of grass, it struggles to achieve an adequate blade speed, even when fully charged, and at a slow speed tears up the lawn. Forward progress has to be very slow. The throw of grass into the bin is poor, which means that clippings are discharged long before the bin is even a quarter full. The battery failed and had to be replaced. A great disappointment.

Not Worth The Money
I find this machine struggles with even medium length wet grass, leaves mulch behind, it is a nightmare to clean with all the nooks and crannies it has it is vastly over hyped and far too expensive for what it is. As an aside just to prove I am unbiased and supportive of British enterprise, I have the GTech strimmer which is also not up to much the blades last minutes even though they are free, the GTech hedge trimmer which is very good, the GTech K9 carpet cleaner which is excellent and two GTech E bikes which also don't live up to the hype. My mower is being sold at a huge loss I am sure, I foolishly gave away my 5 year old Honda mower when this arrived. All in all this mower is probably suited to a very small garden that is mown every other day. Plus points? It is quiet, light, easy to assemble.

one big fault I have found is that the grass must be absolutely dry for the mower to work efficiently, I have just used it on a very warm day at 5.oclock (the days before being dry) but somewhere it picked up a damp patch and then it makes a horrible noise and tears the grass out of the ground. I had to adjust the height to continue which gave me a lawn that looked as if it need a mow. I am not an engineer but I feel that the blade is too long to allow grass that accumulates on the underside to escape It needs scraping far too often. It is well made and easy to clan and when the conditions are perfect does a good job, but I am glad I have not ditched my flymo!!!!
Why Pay £35 For A New Battery
I opened the battery box to find a standard lead acid sealed battery 12v/7Ah. Bought a replacement (Yuasa Y9-12 which is 9Ah thus will last longer) from Bristol Batteries for £19.33 inc VAT. Easily fitted with a soldering iron to hand or two spade connectors. Easy and saved over £15.

Very Few Problems
I have three G Tech lawnmowers for use at different locations. Purchased some three years ago, they still work well but I have had to replace two batteries and a charger. Provided the grass is dry, they cut well and leave striped finish. If the grass is wet, then they will clog.

The G Tech Mower Proved To Be Totally Useless For
The G tech mower proved to be totally useless for cutting a normal lawn.On investigation I found that the motor that was fitted was totally under powered at 50 watts. The mechanical design was attractive and I don't understand how the manufacturers put it on the market while overlooking the power needed to do the job.
I took it for granted that the mower would be designed to have enough power to do the job that it was meant to do.

Gtech Cm01 Is The Best Bargain I Have Ever Bought
Gtech CM01 is the best bargain I have ever bought for just £49.99 from B&M's in Uddingston It cuts my grass as good as a £200 machine.Take note its for cutting a lawn not the amazon jungle like some of the other people seem to think.my lawn measures 6 metres X 6 metres and I get 2 cuts a week apart with just 1 16 hour charge.I would have purchased sooner if I hadn't read the other reviews

I Was So Disappointed When I Opened The Box Upon A
i was so disappointed when i opened the box upon arrival of my gtech mower---the add sounded so great....but in fact it is a cheap chinese made piece of rubbish!!!
the batteries don't hold a charge. the thing started deconstructing its'self almost on first use. it bogged down in grass that was not tall, nor thick !!!
it is so cheaply made.....unbelievable!!!!
on the rating of 5 stars..i give it a negative 5 stars, as it is the cheapest, most poorly made tool i have ever tried to use.
