Best Value Garden Item Ever Bought

I bought one of these 13 years ago , the clips on the bag have just broken off , I've used it about a dozen times a year , I can still use it for blowing leaves , but I'm unable to get replacement bag for it.

Don't Buy One If You Can Get Anything Else! Quite

Don't buy one if you can get anything else! Quite a heavy machine that has frequent need for clearing the nozzle or front or whatever the thing is calle. It comes in two parts and bits of leaf and sticks get stuck there and clog it up. The bag tears quickly and replacements are available at around £30 a pop.

I Bought A Rbv-2400p Garden Vac And It Lasted A Sh

I bought a RBV-2400P garden vac and it lasted a shade over 2 years before the bushes in the motor became loose and the motor shaft rattled around inside the motor housing. I had used it less than a dozen times. I contacted Ryobi as I thought it was probably a design fault but they were not interested. I would never buy another Ryobi product. My Black and Decker lasted over 12 years.

I have a Ryobi RBV-2400VP which I bought in April 2009. Just today I discovered the exact same problem and the blower will not operate now. Had a Black and Decker before this and it lasted much longer.

The Ryobi Seemed To Be Excellent Value For Money W

The Ryobi seemed to be excellent value for money when I decided to buy one and indeed it worked efficiently enough when I first used it, which was for about 15 minutes. However when I went to use it for the second time I found debris was flying out of a small tear in the bag. On closer examination I found that the bag tears just like paper and is about as strong. I contacted Ryobi about this thinking that if this was a manufacturing fault then they would surely be keen to investigate it but despite the fact that the item is still under their so called warranty they haven't even had the courtesy to reply to my email which was submitted through their website. I would have thought that any reputable company would have shown at least some concern. Needless to say I will never buy Ryobi products again!

Not Indestructable, But Very Good Value For Money.

Not indestructable, But very good value for money. Reliable, good vacuum and blower pressures. 8 years old and bearings have just given up. If used on leaves only will last forever. Have vacuumed rags.rocks, sticks, sand, dirt etc.

Bags get holes. Plastic clips on bag mounts break. Worst problem is bag needs to be washed clean to keep air moving thru.

Impeller won't clog. The Ryobi Blower Vacuum is powerful to a fault. Will suck up rocks but won't harm the blower, just shut it off and rocks fall out vacuum tube.

Have mine 10 years now and finally wearing out.Hard to find at Home Depot or almost anywhere. I have looked and am still looking.
