Wilkinson Sword Telescopic Universal Cutter

No instructions in the pack and telescopic lock was faulty, completely jammed. Finally took it back to retailer who unjammed it with difficulty but it did same thing again straight away and they were kind enough to replace it with no quibble. Sent two e-mails to Wilkinsons who ignored them both. I obviously got a faulty cutter but the silence from Wilksons annoyed me most.

very good back up from manufactureres would vote suppliers Fisk five star, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THE YEAR ALL MANUFACTORS SHOULD AIM TO BE AS GOOD AS THEM ON PR AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WELL DONE!!!

not very durable in use have not used the item much ,but allready the head has given problems

I think the other reveiwers must have just been unlucky, as this product has served me well for the past 4 years without any problem, despite having seriously heavy use. The jaws are strong and the reach is fantastic. I have had no problems with the tape not being strong enough despite cutting some seriously strong tree branches. This tool is highly recommended.

We have broken the tape and the blade on the Wilkinson Sword Telescopic Universal Cutter. Still under warranty but Fiskars said we had to send it back to them, to evaluate the problems, so we just paid for replacement parts.

It would be a great tool if it was not for the lack of strength and poor customer service.

When the tape broke on my Wilkinson Sword Cutter the consumer affairs dept at Fiskars was very unhelpful, some of the staff should sent on a customer training course I think. I wish I could speak directly to Wilkinson sword, and not Fiskars!

The Wilkinson Sword Telescopic Universal Cutter is a good idea, only let down because it's not more versatile.
