Adey Magnaclean Professional

The person I dealt with from Adey talked me into buying one. Used it once, didn’t do anything. Had to go back with my Frenox power flushing machine and do the whole system again which worked. Complained to the person I dealt with at Adey. She said she will get their tech bloke to call me. To this day I haven’t heard from Adey again. Avoid. Waste of money.

the valves have been modified, the wrong seal put on which then caused it to leak, the canister expanded, etc

its a shame it was made from plastic otherwise it would be a lot more robust

This 'Magnaclean Professional' system is a system designed to maintain your complete central heating system by taking out all of the black suspended iron oxide that clogs up your boiler and radiators. It is a relatively simple device that is plumbed in to your central heating system and it collects all of the rubbish that would eventually destroy your system. It works by using a very strong magnet that sits inside a cylinder and attracts the iron oxide to the magnet, you can then very easily clean the Magnaclean system and then just let it run until the next time your boiler is serviced.

We had this system fitted when we had our new boiler installed and the company who fitted the boiler and the Magnaclean recommended that I just keep a check on the Magnaclean for the first few days/weeks until the system was clean. I have been absolutely amazed at the black sludge that has been trapped by the Magnaclean, I would not have believed it had I not seen it for myself. During a Magnaclean service when I was cleaning out the sludge I accidentally damaged a nylon sleeve that holds the sludge. I dropped a quick email to Mike Nevin at Adey Solutions asking him what would be the cost of a replacement part and delivery etc. I was blown away by the fact that Mike Nevin replied to my email within 5 minutes and also told me that he would send me the replacement part at no charge. In fact he said....'It is on its way'. I am so totally chuffed with this company's after-sales service and their product that I just wanted to pass this on to others who are thinking about a product like this. It is brilliant, I only wish that I had heard about this product a long time ago, then perhaps I may not have needed to have replaced my boiler in the first place. So...... well done Adey Solutions!
