Glowworm 24Cx Flexicom Condensing Combi Boiler

Had a Flexicom 24CX condensing boiler installed to replace my ageing Potterton cylinder set up five months ago at a cost of £1,700. The installer flushed my very old radiators three times to clear out the gunk - which he explained is particularly important when fitting a new boiler to an old system. The new boiler has worked without any problems at all and I've liked the pre-heat feature which reduces the time for water to be provided at a given time - ideal for showers in the morning! I also had a ClimaPro control fitted. I don't find this very intuitive to use - however it works extremely well at maintaining the set temperature. Boiler came with a two year manufacturer's guarantee

Had my old back boiler ripped out which worked perfectly well and had glo worm combi condencing boiler fitted to save on gas bills after 14 month the fan on boiler burnt out and its going to cost around £270 for a new fan,so much for saving on bills.I WORK full time not a good wage so i am just sick and tired of being ripped off,is it just me?
