Advanced Double Glazing Windows and Conservatories

It has taken me over a year to write this as I had always been hopeful that in the end everything would be as it should have been . We bough some windows and 2 doors at a cost of £9000 when we moved house in 2016. Never ever have I encountered such a disorganised company. We have had over 5 site surveyors attend the property to record the issues we have had with our windows and doors . I have lost count at the amount of workmen who have attended the property to sort these issues. I think at last count it was 12 !!!

Usually they turn up without the replacement parts as they haven't been ordered or if they have been ordered it's the wrong parts .

They were due to come out Friday to replace our back door and sort out the issues with our front door. We got a call to tell us that the wrong panel had been ordered. I told them again not to come out to do part of the work as my husband is disabled and if he wasn't able I would have to take time off my work to be there. They turned up today and the back door was too big! The boss told them to cut it down with a hand saw in the back of the van ... I told them not too bother. I purchased a custom fitted door and as the last door they fitted was clearly cut by a blind man I wanted the door replaced.

We are still in the process of trying to get the composite front door replaced due to it being dented and scratched. My 75 year old mother in law and I cannot use the front door as you have to pull the door in order to turn the lock and get access!! When I mentioned this today I was told unfortunately that's how it is !! So in short We can't use the front door as we can't open it!!

The management don't want to know despite their false reassurances that everything will be rectified.

I am now looking at taking court action as enough is enough

I have just have my whole flat fitted with new double glazed windows. Can't believe the difference in the noise and heat - especially in the bedroom- next to a main road. Efficient and tidy installation - the fitters barely stopped all day. Took two days - but that was for the whole flat. price compare more than favourably to other quotes I received- have already recommended to a couple of pals.

We were needing new windows as ours were about 25 years old.

Our problem was that we needed / wanted black upscale windows and doors which restricted us from a few well known glazing companies.

We decided to plump for three companies and get quotes for each.

Advanced came recommended by friends, so we decided to try them first.

After my initial enquiry, the person I dealt with contacted me and arranged an appointment for that day.

She listened to our requirements and took everything onboard. She measured up, gave us some options, some of which we hadn't considered and presented her product with great enthusiasm.

After considering all our options, we were still of a mind to give other companies a chance, but she convinced us that Advanced would more than meet our needs.

We decided to commit and we are delighted that we did.

The next day the surveyor came out and gave us more practical suggestions.

Very quickly a fitting date was arranged.

On the day of the arranged fitting Advanced phoned to say there had been a problem with damaged sills, but they agreed to fit the windows over a weekend.

The fitters were quick and clean and made a super job of the installation. All were very mannerly and worked hard to complete the job on time.

The house was transformed and we couldn't believe how high the spec was with our new windows and door.

We also had cladding put on the front of the house and it is so beautiful that two of our neighbours on seeing our job have signed up with Advanced to have full installations as well.

We have just had our whole house fitted with windows and doors. I was dreading what I expected to be a long messy process but no. Signed up for them 2 weeks ago and they are in, Delighted with the whole process from being given a good price to assistance and the fitters were first class too. Clean tidy fast workers and the finish is absolutely excellent. Very good quality product too. There was one cracked glass unit when our lounge window arrived and they had someone out at 10.15pm that night replacing it. Excellent service would highly recommend this company.

It all started with a search and loads of appointments with several companies to use to replace and to fit new windows for me. After not being impressed with most of the big companies I gave up hope until my mum arranged a meeting with advanced group. My meeting only lasted about half an hour because I was that impressed with the quality and standard of there triple glazing windows. The saleswoman that was helping me with the windows was very pleasant and easy to talk to rather than being the stereotypical salesman of making you feel uncomfortable. 5 years ago we had a new conservatory built by Advance which is now our favourite room in the house, so when it came to replacing our front door and bedroom window we had no hesitation of phoning Advane who sent out their Salesman, he was very helpful/knowledgeable and not pushy at all, we have now been fitted with a beautiful composite door and triple glazed bedroom window, we are completely satisfied so much that I got the same salesman out again and are now waiting to get all my windows replaced at the back of the house.
