Third time I've used them in 5 years. Brilliant showroom, friendly staff and fitters are polite and hardworking. Standard of workmanship is excellent. I wouldn't use any other company, they're a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end.

Had new bay window fitted on 7/072023 arrived on time work done well .No mess left fitters excellent.Have used them before No problems.Would not hesitate to use them again.Well done Alexander windows

So very pleased with the door.It was an extremely hot day,but the fitters did an excellent job,on a south facing sun room.We supplied cold drinks and a cold air machine to help them.They worked very well together,two of the best workmen we have had and left the garden clean and tidy.

My wife and I decided to replace our sliding patio door as it stuck so often and had to have gallons of wd 40 on it !!!!!! Alexander Windows had fitted some windows for us over the years so we contacted them. We visited the showroom in Stockport and viewed a number of French Doors. Chose a set and arranged for someone to come and give us a quote. This was done on the same day ! Accepted the quote after having received two others and arranged a time and date for fitting.

Two fitters came and the French doors were fitted within 3 hours. An excellent job with a proper clean up afterwards. Good quality workmanship with a pleasant manner and attitude. I would once again recommend Alexander Windows.

I had 2 Rockdoors fitted, one front , one barn door. both great, was very happy. Fours later a serious hidded fault in the fitting appeared. under the lifetime guarntee a new door slab was fitted by different fitters. Still waiting for the slab fitting to be corrected/fixed. Four years appart, same company, issue same quality fitting service. This is a real shame as the Rockdoor products are brilliant quality. The barn door I have is excellent and still is ! Rockdoors the highest standard and strenght, yet the fitting managed to crack/split my Rockdoor door due to the still curved frame. I am waiting for my call back ?

Approached Alexander Windows for a quote for the front of the house. Lost count of the number of companies we've had round, we've had so many bad experiences over the years that we've become a bit paranoid. Sales person turned up right on time. Didn't get a laptop out and give us a price which was nice, made everything more relaxed. Almost felt like we were just getting advice off a friend, The quote was sent in the post, it was very detailed and had pictures of each window. They didn't ring chasing us for a decision or pressuring us which we have experienced with others. We visited the showroom to go have a look at the windows and that was really what sold it to us. If you have a quote definitely go to the showroom. It's big and has a lot of different styles on display. We placed our order a couple of days later and the survey was done by the end of the week. The installers were wonderful to have in the house. Clean, used dust sheets etc. My husband was very happy with the standard of the finishing and he's very particular. All in all it was brilliant to have people do what they say they're going to do and not play games. Hopefully we'll be able to have the back done later this year as well as the doors.

just had a new rock door and bed room window fitted by alexander windows what a very good company from start to finish, job as gone well the lads who done the job were very professional,did a good job and cleaned up after them selves well done and thankyou

Glass panel pattern in door has fault which spoils the door. They say it is part of the pattern, and that was the way Rock Doors made it, so it can't be changed.

In that case they should have refused it. Looks like a hole in the glass. Fitted well.

I used Alexander about 4 years ago and had a few issues but eventually they were resolved of a fashion. I needed new soffits and bargeboards so I thought I'd give them a shot, better the devil you know etc.

The sales lady said they would remove all the old timber and replace with upvc. When the fitters came I went to the shops. I returned after a few hours and they had finished. I couldn't believe how fast they done the work. I asked where all the old timber was as they said this was just a wrap over job so it was still up there. A lot of the timber was rotten so I couldn't believe my ears. They said it would be fine so I paid them in full.

I've since read that I could have problems in the future with the timber sweating so I contacted the sales lady and she said they always do it like that and that she never said it would all be removed. I feel very disappointed and ripped off.

Alexander windows of Hazel Grove fitted our windows on the 4th May 2008 and we were assured we'd have a full 10 year guarantee. What a joke!!!

We called as 6 of our double glazed units have condensated inside them and they won't honour the guarantee. Small print says the glass is only guaranteed for 5 years and we are now having to fork out £435 to have them changed by a local company. They did offer to replace them at a discounted rate, the price? £650. Rip off merchants who don't back up their promises. I'd definitely go with Everest or one of the others next time even though they are dearer. You buy cheap you buy twice, be warned!!!!!!!!!
