For the second time Apropos have taken client deposits and then gone into administration. Will they Phoenix the company again, ready to do the same a third time?

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The architect’s expertise and manner inspired confidence from the start, and other staff proved similarly professional as the project progressed. An atmosphere of cheerful industriousness at the factory in Ashton-under-Lyne. Excellent liaison and communications: questions and emails always answered promptly and effectively by office staff. Very happy with the end-product.

We wanted a large rear extension with bifolds and lantern rooflights, Apropos provided an excellent and flexible design service where we could discuss and get multiple designs drafted to help us make the choice. The scheduling and delivery all went to plan and followup has been excellent for snagging items once the build was complete.

Our job was very specific (a listed house) and therefore not straight forward. The Company were helpful from the start, with multiple site visits and telephone consultations. We had to have several plans drawn up and the company were efficient with the turnaround. They kept us informed of progress and wanted to deliver earlier than planned which was a great benefit. When it came to delivery the driver was polite and helpful and the installers worked all day long on a very hot day to get the job completed by the afternoon. We are pleased with our purchase - it has made the project look great.

We had an idea as to what we wanted but the architect really helped us get it right. The construction is amazing quality and the new living space is changing so much about our home its brilliant. I couldn't quite manage to give 5 stars as there were some logistical challenges along the way and getting the snags sorted at the end took longer than planned but I would still recommend; because whilst those things are annoying in the moment, we'll have a great conservatory forever!

Great service and they worked under difficult delays due to the building work and fitted in perfectly. They also came out twice to fix minor issues (small scratch and rubber seal expanding in the heat). The guy that fixed the scratch was amazing. He looked over the whole structure in case there was anything else he could fix while there and was kind, polite and just a thoroughly nice guy.

We're really pleased with the conservatory. The end result is just what we wanted and Apropos's design drawings were very accurate. The new conservatory has very much enhanced our living space and allowed beautiful, uninterrupted views to the garden.

Overall, the customer service was supportive. However, it would have been useful for a member of the team so discuss more detailed options with us, such as integrated lighting, blinds and the type of glass available. We did feel that unless questions occurred to us about the finer detail (which having embarked on a build like this for the first time, didn't necessarily seem obvious at the time), Apropos didn't offer suggestions or alternatives.

The installation of the structure went very smoothly, and the team of fitters worked really hard to get a great result.

We went though planning once and were unsuccessful; we hired Apropos to go through the whole process from obtaining planning to putting up the structure. They were very patient with us as it took longer than we expected to get the project started. We were very pleased with the end results.
