From initial booking to completion was 3 months. During that time,we were not contacted and had to keep ringing to see what the delay was. The date promised was cancelled,surveyors didn’t come on the day they said . When I complained ,I received a phone call back from a bolshy man with little sympathy who blamed everything from “Covid” to staff shortages .

It wouldn’t hurt to keep us informed of the installation.

However ,there was no delay in sending the invoice.It arrived less than24 hours after completed installation. it came as no surprise that no one bothered to contact us to see if we were happy with the end result.

Final porch looks good but we shall see in time how it wears.

Chose Carera as cheapest quote. Installers seemed rushed. Instead of trimming picture rail, dado rail and skirting to new door surround they hacked into the new surround to make life easier/quicker for them. It looked dreadful. When challenged they said "that's how we do it" and left. On contacting by phone, it was confirmed that this is how they are told to do it. They offered a £50 reduction and some replacement trim so that we could do it properly ourselves. This never materialized so we sourced some ourselves and did the job. Can see why their quote was the cheapest. Anyone with period features in their property should avoid this company if they want a proper job done.

Second time we have used carera for our window and door needs. The fitters arrived promptly at 9am and were straight into their work(aided by tea ). We ordered a beautiful door from them and did not disappoint when seeing it in the flesh. It is a secondary front door and was a little awkward for the fitters. Unfazed by the job their tenacity was to be admired. The end product was by a country mile the best piece of workmanship I have seen, so tidy and neat and of superb quality.

The whole experience using carera windows is a treat from start to finish. Larry the salesman so knowledgeable and professional, no hard sell required the products do all the talking.

Would I use carera again - yes

Would I recommend to friends - yes

Do I wish my wife would tidy up so well -yes.!!!!!!!

This company was recommended by a family member that had used this company before. They were the first ones to give me a quote, we had four others, they left us alone to decide without keep ring every day and hassling us. We decided they were the ones we wanted to go with. Things moved very quickly with no hassle.there customer service was excellent from dealing the sales man to the fitters.

They were there the time that they said,I was expecting there to be a bit of a mess but they left none. They were very helpfull.

The Windows and doors look beautiful and I'm over the moon with them. Anybody that wants value for money and a excellent service though out should definitely look at this company and will be recommending.
