It was so easy. I went onto the website and did my own quote. hen someone called and offer to put me in touch with 3 suppliers. They were all OK and I was very happy with the finished job.

I just used Double Glazing On The Web's website, it was really good and i got a price straight away which is exactly what I was looking for. It's the only website i have found that will give you an online quote for your windows. I was very happy with the guide quote price on the site, they have since contacted me and managed to get me in touch with a couple of local double glazing installers close by so I didn't have to use one from out of town. I highly recommend the website, they gave me an excellent service.

I thought I could finally get a online quotation for installing windows, unfortunately they are just after your details to sell on to local companies. I got a call back almost immediately with the operator explaining that they were just like "compare the market". Well proper compare sites do it online not by sending someone around to your home to pressurise you into a sale.

Judging by the reviews on this site they have recently changed their model, it's a shame and I'm sure someone in the retail glazing industry will grasp this opportunity soon!!

This company must have changed. It no longer installs windows, but is just a lead generation website for genuine window companies. Their quote was meaningless - of the two companies that they referred me to, both ended up quoting me at least 30% more than the doubleglazingontheweb quote (and one of the companies had never even heard of doubleglazingontheweb. So I feel tricked and have wasted my time.

We've just had our Front Door replaced by doubleglazingontheweb. Really like the website - its very easy to use and get a quote, and a much greater selection of doors than any of the local companies who quoted us.

Once the booking was made, the surveyor came and measured, and arrived on time. We were quickly given an installation date, which was much sooner than any local company could do the job. The installation date was changed as the door panel had not arrived, but we were kept informed, so can't ask for much more.

Once the panel arrived, DGOTW called and re-scheduled. The fitter arrived on time and efficiently installed the door.

We are very happy with the quality of the door, the quality of the fitting and the service we have received, and will be recommending this service, and using it again ourselves.

DO request the higher security lock - the single-point lock that comes as standard is generally not adequate, and the high-security one is only a few pounds more. If you want higher security, also ask for dog-bolts to strengthen the security on the hinge side of the door - they did not offer this, and I had to ask. Again, the cost of these was very small. (I work in the security industry, and have seen enough break-ins to know where the weak points are!).

We were unsure about using an internet-based company for a large purchase like this, but would have no hesitation in using this company again.

The ability to put together your own quote on this company's website is a real bonus. There is no high pressure salesman. After you agree to go ahead, they send someone to check the measurements accurately before scheduling the fitting. From ordering to fitting was just a couple of weeks, much faster than the other companies I got quotes from.

My only complaint was that some damage was done to the inside walls when a bay window was fitted; the fitter really should have done the decent thing and pointed it out. Unfortunately I signed to say I was happy with the work before I spotted the damage. I would use this company again, but will be much more careful to check the work properly before signing (as you should with any fitter).

We liked the transparency of the website and the prices were competitive. We had quite a lot of windows to do, so had the usual Everest/Anglian/Crystal quotes, but also had read lots of reviews so knew what to expect.

Mortgage size quotes which dropped to levels which were still much more expensive that doubleglazigontheweb.

We weren't sure if it would be a risk ordering from a company so far away, but the website was professional and we took a gamble doing about half the house first.

DGONW sent two teams, who started earlier and finished by the end of that day. We were pleased with the result and asked them back to a few more windows.

A patio door and bay window to complete, and we'll call them when we are ready.

Without doubt the most trustworthy double glazing company I have ever encountered. I started off by ordering 2 windows and was so impressed with the price, service and quality of their work that I have had the rest of my house double glazed with them and am currently in the process of ordering a conservatory. Their staff are extremely helpful and very professional; I was kept informed of every aspect of my order throughout the process. Their fitting teams left my house spotless and installed the windows beautifully.

Most importantly their prices are incredibly good especially considering the high quality products they supply. The most impressive part is that they don't send salespeople nor do they pressure you to buy at any point - leaving the decision entirely up to the customer - I have recommended the company to many of my friends and family and everyone has been equally impressed.

I was initially quite sceptical about using an online company for my double glazing. We decided to only get one window installed, which was the bathroom. I measured up myself to get a rough quote off their website, then the surveyer came round to get an accurate measurement.

2 weeks later my window was installed, which took about an hour or so. I was very impressed.

We needed to get a few more windows installed, so obtained a quote, the surveyer came round and measured up, again they installed the windows within 2 weeks. The windows we had replaced were 2 huge sash windows, on the 1st floor of my very high ceilinged house, so I was surprised when only 1 guy came and fitted them (unlike the bathroom when there was 2 guys), however, he did a fantastic job. In total I thnk he took around 4 hours for 2 windows, but as I said they were huge.

The windows themselves seem high quality, and look lovely. I will be calling them out again this month to do our kitchen window, one more bedroom and the porch.

I have recommended them to my parents, who are also going to get theirs done.

The customer service is brilliant - I had to change one of the fitting dates, and they were happy to fit me in the day after.

I cannot praise Doubleglazingontheweb enough for their excellent customer service, installation and products. I did my initial quote online, I had the opportunity to pop into their showroom in Bournemouth where their representative went through my quote, this could have easily been done over the phone, no sales pressure at all, a few extras that I had not thought about - bay posts for the bay windows, and toughened safety glass because my sils were below minimum height but the price was still very good. Surveyor came around when arranged (phoned ahead because he was running early), very professional, explaining everything as he went around the property, answering questions about installation etc. he confirmed price quoted with no extras, no pressure.

Fitters arrived when arranged on time and worked solid for two days, excellent installation, minimal disruption and very little or no damage to surrounding walls inside and out, this was one of my worries of having the rendering damaged but everything was made good (except painting) by the fitters and you would never know I had the windows replaced. Brilliant!
