We had wanted an extended living area for some time and considered a conservatory at first but realised an Eden veranda room could offer more.We now have our extra space, which is lovely as a coffee/ reading/ entertaining area and offers so much light. When the doors are open the veranda welcomes in the garden. The canopy is wonderful for screening excessive sun as well.

We're looking forward to using the room in the colder months too when we can use the indoor heaters.

Terrible experience over past 9 months.

My name is Stanislas Guy and I signed a deal with Eden Veranda back in September and was told it would take around 4 months to get my veranda installed.

Planning permit was granted in time but we are now 9 months later and still no date provided for the installation.

No news from the customer service and we need to keep chasing them to get news. We are kept in the dark with no clear visibility on when we can expect delivery, despite multiple asks as we need to do some work upfront.

Very disappointed in the service, I am not even sure we will get our veranda one day…

I contacted this company to get a quote and could not believe how unhelpful and disinterested they were in the project.

The woman did not seem to know what she was talking about.

I certainly won’t be even inviting this company round to even view the job after the disastrous telephone conversation.They need to sort out their staff with their unprofessional telephone manner.

I do not recommend using this company at all.

I wish that I had read some of these reviews before ordering my veranda from Eden. The Customer Service is extremely poor. They should be ashamed of themselves. I believe the product to be good but customer service and installation not up to scratch. Avoid at all costs.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT,GOOD QUALITY MATERIALS. BUT I COULDN'T RECOMMEND IT BECAUSE OF THE VERY POOR FITTING ARRANGEMENTS. NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION FROM THEIR OFFICE. UNDERSTAFFED FITTERS WHO ARE OVERWORKED. SO IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY FIND ANOTHER SUPPLIER.

We purchased a full glass room from Eden with a composite deck base. The product is German (Weinor) and well engineered. What let Eden down was poor installation project management and under resourcing. Deliveries arrived with no one to unload because the installers were booked the next day. The lorry the kit arrived on was too big to get into the road so had to go away, despite the surveyor saying it would not be a problem. Lifting equipment that Eden hire to lift the beams didn't arrive during installation, so my builders, who happened to be on site, assisted. The installers are sub contracted, not employed by Eden, and are definitely not given enough time to complete the install so they have to go to other jobs before completion and have to be re-scheduled to come back. In my opinion they should have been allocated twice as much time to complete the works. That given the installers were hard working and courteous doing a nice tidy job. One thing I did not consider was condensation. Now the evenings are cooler, the inside of the glass room is covered in condensation by the morning so it drips from the ceiling throughout the morning wetting the furniture. A double glazed roof would limit or perhaps overcome this. The composite decking is from a company called Havwoods and although I am sure it is long lasting, it stains very easily. A potato crisp dropped on the decking will leave a dark oil mark that cannot be easily removed. Havwoods will sell you a specialist cleaner but you will be forever cleaning marks off. Havwoods technical department state the decking cannot be sealed. So there does not seem to be much you can do about it. Despite these reservations we really like the glass room and use it as often as possible. Would I recommend it to a friend ? thats difficult probably yes but with reservations.

I would recommend the company to anyone! The service was excellent throughout. From the first appointment with the planner and designer, a lovely lady who was very patient, truly a professional to the installation team. Respectful and courteous. We are never out of our glass room. Thank you

Extremely pleased with the veranda installed! A very complicated design but accurately handled from point of first enquiry to finishing inspection! Helpful staff, good communication along the way, a clean and tidy installation.

Very disappointed with colour on the frame. On the tiny samples I had to chose from I chose sandstone because our patio is sandstone. Cost £10250.00 for 4mx3.5m glass roof. Very expensive but we wanted an elegant veranda to go with our new beautiful sandstone patio. The colour is Mustard yellow, the whole frame looks out of place, it's not elegant, it sticks out like a sore thumb, it looks ugly, cheap and tacky. I have not paid the last £1025.00. Have requested refund. Spoken to managing director - no refund and have been told if I don't pay the last installment, the matter will be pass to their legal team. Was told that the big bag of rubbish would be collected within three days. One week tomorrow and rubbish still waiting. Yesterday the glass roof started leaking. I did check out onlinepolycarbonate.co.uk before going with Eden Veranda. I rather pay £1040.00 if I am not going to have a veranda that looks elegant to compliment our beautiful patio. It would have done the same job i.e. Keep rain off.
