I mistakenly agreed to have a quote from a cold doorstep call off this company for my porch.

They now call me every week pretending to be different companies when I say the reviews about them are poor. Every call I ask them to leave me alone and they don't, I've even blocked every number they call me on which they know because they now call me on unknown numbers! If they have to go to these lengths to pester people for business I figure that their bad reviews must be true! My porch has now been vandalised, I strongly suspect this issue is connected. I'm very close to contacting the police. I worry that if it was an elderly person they were pursuing, they would just agree to work to get rid of them. PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH THEM!!!

These guys keep cold calling me and I have been very polite in the past and listened to their offers and then declined.

Someone called me this morning and I told him politely that I was not interested at which point (while I was still saying thank you very much) he slammed the phone down!

I have never attempted to contact this company, but have been cold called on several occasions as my caller history shows missed calls.

Today I just missed answering the phone, and it clicked onto answer machine.... The caller then left a 'delightful message' using very explicit language telling me what I could go and do!

I decided to return the call to find out who obviously had a grudge against me and had tried on several occasions to get in touch with me.. To be met with a recorded message thanking me for getting in touch with home improvements uk!!

Needless to say this number is now blocked from my phone and has been reported to the ombudsman along with the recording on my answer machine.

Cold called by.this company On many occasions finally.I agreed to have some work done the salesman was very polite and drew up.the work.plans bit then said I must pay a deposit to get my work booked in otherwise it wouldn't get done while the good weather was here so I did.I paid 1160pound this was when my nightmare began they sent someone out to do my roof whodid a bodge.job I was harassed to pay.the money for the work so I did coz I.had a contract and also had another contract for rendering work. Then I had my full house monocouched literally my Windows, doors, drainpipes and my new drive was covered with the stuff. But the woman who works in the office was constantly harassing me for money on the phone and coming out to my property to collect it before the workers had even finished the work and I had time to go and inspect it. Infact the workers had packed up and disappeared when she came to collect the money without even cleaning up but they hadn't even put the monocouche rendering behind the drainpipes and had left pieces unfilled and unfinished. It took me 2 weeks to get the stuff of my Windows and doors but still.trying to get it off my drive with acid cleaner have already done it 3 times if it doesn't come off next time I.will be looking at claiming a new drive I have complained by.phone and by.letter by get no reply only an abusive reply. Also the workmen knocked on my door asking to borrow money for petrol.which they haven't returned to me yet after 6 weeks.They have no respect for anyone something needs to be done to stop these people trading.

stay away from this company !! We ordered a composite door paid £250 deposit .. Two weeks later without permission they took £750 out of our bank account ... After 5 dates of promised delivery they eventually delivered 6 weeks later and I would suggest only because we were polite and patient ,otherwise we would have according to previous form have been waiting much longer !! DO NOT trust them

Don’t use this company. The contractor is ‘no longer a member of the Certass Competent Person’s Scheme’ according to a letter from Certass, but they Still (July 2015) have the Certass logo on their website. They never came back and sorted out the problems with our installation, despite almost daily telephone calls for two months. If the telephone was answered, and if they did not hang up on me, the response was always that someone would call me back – they never did. The postal address, if not totally spurious, is an accommodation address – one letter was returned unopened. They quote prices without vat, do not offer a cooling off period for doorstep sales (which I suspect is illegal), and provide no receipts or other paperwork. The windows actually installed were not quite the same as the ones shown by the salesman. It is a pity because the windows and doors seem very good, the complaints are about minor points that could easily have been sorted out, and the workmen were pleasant and hard working.

Work done very fast and efficiently. Affordable prices,friendly staff,will go with them agin to finish work for the rest of the house. And what a difference the the windows have made to the temperature in the house.

Very happy of the service given to us by home UK improvements, from faz the gentleman that came to my mothers house an to the Charlie the fitters that installed the work, as I wasn't there for on the fitting day only my mother I was a little worried but they cleaned up an made little mess which was my main concern as she is elderly that was my concern,

Had an issue with one of the handles but now that was seen too we are very happy.

I approached this company in feb 2015 they came measured up, quoted and within 4 weeks had all my windows installed without any problems occurring and the finish is absolutely brilliant. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get new windows and doors.
