Total Waste Of Money
Bought soft truffle water based eggshell. It is like painting with dirty water. It will take umpteen coats not to be able to see the undercoat beneath. The paint is a rip off. DO NOT BUY IT.
Rubbish
Agree with previous reviews. Their whole paint range is overpriced rubbish!

Rubbish Paint
Purchased this paint from Homebase. I spent ages updating my table & chairs, following the instructions carefully.
Unfortunately the paint is not durable as in a very short time the furniture became scuffed & now looks a mess.
I emailed Laura Ashley photos & they said to contact Homebase. I contacted Homebase but they are not interested either as I don't have the receipt now, so advised me to go see the manager there!
I wouldn't even give this 1 star rating but not able to give a minus.
This paint is utter rubbish so please don't waste your money.
Laura Ashley Eggshell Paint Not Fit For Use In Bathrooms
We used Laura Ashley eggshell on the woodwork in our newly installed bathroom and within 3 months it was cracked and peeling off – it looked dreadful and all the woodwork had to be redecorated using a different paint.
Our bathroom, which is well ventilated, was decorated by a professional painter and all surfaces were correctly prepared as recommended on the paint tin. The walls of the bathroom were decorated using LA Kitchen and Bathroom emulsion, and we would have used this on the woodwork had it been at all clear from the labelling that a) the eggshell is not suitable for bathrooms and b) that the kitchen and bathroom paint is suitable for woodwork as well as for plaster walls.
We provided Laura Ashley’s customer services with all the information that they asked for – order number/receipt and photos of the failed paint and the tin of paint showing its batch number. Their final response was to advise that the manufacturer would not be able to recreate the conditions in our bathroom and since they had received no other complaints about our batch, they concluded that the fault was not with the paint! At this point we decided that life is too short to spend it complaining to Laura Ashley.
