Poor Quality Paint
Purchased Laura Ashley pale slate emulsion, lovely colour but nothing else about this paint is good watery and almost transparent. It took 4 coats of LA paint to cover a wall Which normally would have been adequately covered with 2!!! Still doesn't look right! !. very dissapointed and would definitely NOT recommend, waste of money. :(
Very Poor Product
Purchased Duck Egg emulsion because we liked the colour. Applied to wall with roller ,and cutting in with good quality brush. Thankfully only applied to one feature wall ,which needed three coats to cover. When dry wall was very patchy and roller joins were prominent when viewed from the side. Wall now redecorated using Dulux emulsion. What an absolute waste of time and money . Do not purchase this product.

Truly Dreadful
Using Pale Ivory over a very pale grey needed 4 coats this an absolute joke also to add insult to injury the dry paint on the tray started pealing into the wet paint on the next coat causing even more work cost over £100 to paint one room
What A Waste Of Money, Like Painting With Skimmed Milk.
I bought LA 'Old Rose' 2.5litres to paint my bedroom. I have never used such rubbish quality paint! It was like painting with skimmed milk. Complete waste of money and effort. Gave up in the end and bought a tin of decent paint. Tried contacting Homebase at Whitfield Dover, no-one returned my call. Tried contacting LA, pointless. Do not waste your money on this inferior quality emulsion as it is worse than 'value' type paints.

Terrible Quality Paint
Don't use Laura Ashley eggshell paint. It's thin and watery and doesn't do the job. Any B and Q or Homebase paint is preferable. They also refuse to give refunds for their sub standard product.
I have just wasted a day using Laura Ashley eggshell in Duck Egg. Four coats and I may as well be painting with milk. I tried to reject the tin handed to me by the assistant but she was insistent and I couldn’t reach the shelf myself as just recently had surgery. The label was old and the tin lid had black rust on the inside when I got home. I have destroyed a £300 cabinet. I normally use Farrow & Ball and wish I hadn’t bothered with the dreadful Laura Ashley paint.

Emulsion Paint Review
After reading mixed reviews I was unsure if what to expect,
I was swayed initially by the sale price I must admit as usually use a far more expensive paint but this was for a spare room .
It went on well and although dried very quickly I was impressed with the finish , had great coverage and colours were true to samples
Would defiantly use again .

Laura Ashley Paint
Ive had no trouble using this paint. I painted south facing bedroom in duck egg blue, it went on a dream. It even covered a dark wallpaper very well. I have painted the hallway in Sage underneath the dado rail and it looks lovely and my bedroom has now been painted in pale duck egg blue and it looks lovely. I bought the paint direct from Laura Ashley and would never buy from DIY Store. Dulux paint is also good I painted my bathroom in atmosphere which is a really pretty colour. I will be using Laura Ashley paint for my living room and kitchen. Cant understand some bad reviews ive always used it. My only complaint is that it is a little smelly and takes a while foe the smell to go.

Paint And Costumer Service Team
I purchased two tins of Paint from Laura Ashley Pale Dove Grey only to find two different shades! Unfortunately my painters have put the roller on top of the tiny little batch code number which is on the tin lid, and to cut a long story short as I cannot show proof of the batch numbers being the same despite buying them from Laura Ashley on the same day (the last two tins) customer service will do nothing about it. Why I am so annoyed is that it has taken from September 10th with my initial contact to September 25th to establish that they cannot read the numbers! The whole experience has been a nightmare and I would urge anyone buying paint from Laura Ashley to check batch numbers take photographs as you go along as you really won't have a leg to stand on otherwise Looking at reviews recently I think I would buy another make of paint but unfortunately you tend not to look at reviews until you have something to say about a product!
Q&A
Has anyone else noticed a smell of rotten eggs from the Laura Ashley paint? I've only done one coat but the smells just not going. I don't want to do another coat if it's going to leave the room smelling like that.
