UniBond Re-New

I have sealed my bath and shower before so thought this would be good as a easy option but oh my the trouble I had it was hard to squeeze out then once it started coming the blue lid fell off leaving blobs of it everywhere so I wasted my time and money as I will be going back to using the gun technique

I have plenty of experience with mastic sealants,showers,sinks and baths. I looked at this product and thought I would try it in my shower (at £8 a bit steep but hey ho). It started well but soon became a problem. The silicone is very wet compared with normal sealants so is difficult to smooth. The main issue is when you are half way through the tube;I have large hands and am fairly strong but squeezing the tube to get sealant out is very hard,when it does come out you suddenly have a huge amount going everywhere. Sum up;its expensive, not easy to spread, very difficult to get out and it is better to use a sealant gun or even the unibond pressured tube.
