ive noticed the zone 1 door contact will not light up when opened can anyone give me some advice

complete waste of money. If your gona have a proper alarm, you should get a honeywell/ge pro one not this head of junk. had it up and running and a 5am i starts annoying me and the neighbours. careline cutoff. no refund. trust me get a pro one and put it in yourself!

Been trying to set the alarm system. However, have lost the instruction manual. Can anyone advise (1) the default pin code to deactivate alarm and (2) how you change the pin code? Am disappointed that the helpline number does not work.

A toatl waste of money, Helpline is a disconnected number. So how do you get spares especially as it was sold to me by B&Q as fully expandable and spares would never be an issue. The sounds from the control box have now failed and guess what B&Q don't care as they no longer stock and want me to buy a new one.

the ticking from the outside box means the batteries are flat.

change them, it stops.

all the batteries will probably need changing every 9 months or so.

That would be my recommendation to fix any glitches, if that doesn't work, probably go back to B&Q, as the customer service number in the keypad doesn't work.
