HAD AQUASTEP FLOORING FITTED IN THE WHOLE GROUND FLOOR OF MY NEWLY RENOVATED HOME WHICH COSTS OVER £3000. WITHIN DAYS CHIPS APPEARED. IT HAS NOW BEEN DOWN 6 MONTHS AND I AM HAVING TO TAKE IT ALL UP. I HAVE AN 18 MONTH GRANDSON AND IF HE DROPS A TOY ON THE FLOOR IT CHIPS, I PURCHASED A NEW VACCUUM CLEANER SUITABLE FOR THE FLOOR, PUT PADS UNDER CHAIRS AND DINING TABLE... ALL TO NO AVAIL. I CONTACTED THE SUPPLIER (CREATIVE FLOORING) WHO BASICALLY WHERE OF NO HELP. THEY FORWARDED AN EMAIL FROM THE MANUFACTURER STATING I SHOULD NOT ALLOW PETS ON THE FLOOR, USE A SUITABLE VACCUUM CLEANER, PLACE SUITABLE FLOOR MATS (I THINK THEY ARE SUGGESTING YOU COVER THE FLOORING COMPLETELY WITH MATS), NO SAND ETC UNDER SHOES ..... ITS GOES ON. THEY EVEN SUGGESTED THE PROBLEM COULD BE WITH THE UNDERLAY I USED, BUT THEY COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO FIND OUT WHAT I ACTUALLY USED - IT WAS AQUASTEP UNDERLAY !!!! ALL IN ALL I AM REALLY UPSET AND FRUSTRATED WITH THEIR REPLY AND FEEL I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO REPLACE IT ALL AT MY COST. INTERESTINGLY, THEIR WEBSITE SHOWS A CAR PARKED ON THIS FLOORING IN A CAR SHOWROOM !!!!
We have the same identical problems and are considering legal action. We originally were ordering wooden laminate but were advised by our supplier to go for Aquastep which was double the cost. Aquastep and IDS sent out an independent consultant who said the same things you such as no pets, grandchildren or people with shoes on should enter our house and said that we were oversold this product whereupon wooden laminate would have been just as good. How come then that their website recommends usage in garages, restaurants and fitness centres etc. Don't even consider buying Aquastep.

Only Order If You See The Product In Stock
We required a waterproof floor for an upstairs bathroom and wanted something which looked like wooden boards but would not leak.
The aquastep waterproof flooring was exactly what we wanted and we ordered it, promised delivery in 2 weeks. Did not come in. Did not come in 2 weeks after that.
Cancelled first order, found another supplier who said they could get stock for today...of course second lot didn't turn up either.
Have now had to order another floor as the project is so behind schedule that we are running out of time.
Seems to be impossible to get any accurate delivery dates for these products, you just keep getting told new stuff each time - so unless the flooring company actually has it sitting there and you can take it away, order only if you have no time scale and don't mind hanging around for weeks.
I spent last Friday speaking to around 50 companies trying to find a second supplier, the amount of time spent on sourcing this floor is beyond belief.
