Went On Their Training Course
Way back, around 2011/12 I thought I would apply for a salrs job with Christies Kitchens. Went through the process and was offered a position, subject to traing. This was held near Leeds and when I booked into the hotel they arranged, I was told that I was to share a room...no way, so I organised my own room. I arrived for training at 10am, as arranged and told that I was an hour late. The training was all about the " numbers game" selling a product on finance and how to usr BFM "bit for me" . I quite enjoyed the course, the trainer was a bit rough but knew his stuff...especially how to baffle by figures. I decided not to join them and went to a proper job.

Very Happy
We had a Christies Kitchen installed in May 2011 and are very pleased with the result. The guy who did the installation was hard working polite and always on time. Since then we have had a couple of leaks so have had to phone customer service. That is difficult! However when we did get through we had good service and the tradesman arrived and fixed the problem promptly.
The marketing came from a phone call after we had had a quote from their parent company which we did not take up because it was very expensive so I was happy to allow them to come and give me their quote for the same units. I love my new kitchen.
Where Is That 10 Years Warranty That They Are Promising?
Screw and two spaces fell out of the door on 11th February, I have been chasing customer services daily ever since and have been constantly promised return call which never happened. This experience has been very frustrating and annoying. Can anyone give any advice on how to proceed with Christies Kitchens Ltd? Where is that 10 years warranty that they are promising?

Christies Guarantee
we had a new kitchen fitted by christies at a price off £10000. nice looking, but after 18 months the high gloss finish has started to bubble in places. After being told the kitchen was guaranted with no quibble for 15 years we did not think this would be a problem. We contacted customer service and thay sent a form. When recieving the form it stated that there would be a £75 call out charge and £25 per hour to put there problem right. When phoning customer service about this they said you did not read your small print so the charges will apply and in a rude manor kept stating its our fault. I find this disgusting attuide taken after recommending christies to family and friends. Lucky the mother in law has not called them for her new £15000 kitchen. After what we have been through she will not proceed with christies.
Who ever reads this be aware christies does not give a stuff about after care, like the saleman states. Make sure you read all small print because what the saleman tells you is only half the truth. So having to fork out over £100 to get it fixed when you pay for Gaurantee is not right.
Broken Promises
I have been meaning to write this review for some time but time has overtaken me.
Initially, Christies phoned me trying to sell me a new kitchen, (through some dodgey promotional stunt)although I was planning an extension of which would have included a new kitchen (at 10 months ahead) I thought “why not, get in front and see what they can come up with". Although we had a number of visits by a number of salesmen & designers, we were up front in ensuring and stressing that they were aware, that the kitchen we wanted must have rounded end units, both floor and wall. At the time their brochures didn’t included rounded end units but in each case the salesman & designer rung through to check with a Colin and a Rodger (I think they were area or regional managers) to see if our request could be full filled and in each instant they/we were informed that there was a new range coming out and they could meet our kitchen design specification.
We agreed to continue and placed a deposit(approx March/April 2011) to have it fitted for Xmas 2011. As that period approached both my wife and I were starting to get nervous as we didn’t hear anything from them. I made a number of phone calls and although they didn’t say, I soon realised that they wouldn’t be able to deliver and stick to their agreement. At this point they were starting to move the goal posts and asking for extra extortionate monies for the rounded corner units, which obviously we didn’t agree to. I hurriedly contacted a joiner friend, we went and bought an equivalent kitchen from Howdens and also managed to get a good deal. The kitchen was fitted in time for Xmas and prevented us in having to cook off a camping stove!!
Even though I expressed my displeasure, it needed a number of calls and e-mails to get my deposit back with no apology.
Not impressed!!

Repeated Problems After Installation
Salesman was very professional, went downhill from there... Tatty carpentry, inferior appliances and total lack of communication. Once the kitchen had been fitted, getting in contact about repeated problems with appliances they had fitted in the kitchen was a nightmare. Dont let them sell you anything!

Fantastic Service
I have had my kitchen designed ans installed by Christies Kitchens and received fantastic service from start to finish. I am not normally keen on being 'sold to' especially in my own home, but the designer/salesman was helpful and not at all pushy. We had to negotiate on price but this is always to be expected from fitted furniture companies. The fitters that completed the work were always on time, seemed to work really hard and didn't leave much mess. They finished the job in a few days without us being put out or inconvenienced. We are left with a kitchen that looks and works really well. Fantastic service overall!
You are very lucky, against a backdrop of fraud, misrepresentation and, questionable sales tactics and exorbitant costs for goods you have been lucky to get away with a good service. Having worked for them I know what I am talking about - I have even used my real name to demonstrate that I am willing to stand by all of my comments and not hide behind anonymity. They can sue me for slander if they wish....they will loose...and they know it - I have evidence, written and recorded to substantiate my claims.

Poor Service, Poor Quality, Dodgy Sales
I had one of Tues kitchens fitted 4 months back. Paid cash and I wish I never had any dealings with this lot. Nothing but problems with worktop joins, broken hinges and drawers. The after sales Doesnt even exist. I dealt with Dundee branch and manager told so many lies even I was gettin confused!!. Previously space kitchens I believe. I had friends who dealt with space kitchens who also got ripped off with finance from them. Very shifty company. I'm still waiting for things to be fixed but miraculously every time I call the manager is never in. Waste of time and money... Stay clear of them!!

Dreadful Company To Deal With
We had a kitchen fitted and after a very short time one of the joins on the work top came undone. A guy called Roger Paget from Christies Kitchens came to inspect the work top and agreed it needed changing. The problem was that the pattern we had chosen had already gone out of stock!! We agreed to keep the work top in exchange for tiling to be completed in the kitchen, and Roger Paget signed a form for us to be reimbursed by 200 pounds for the tiles.
That was August 2011 and we are still waiting for our money! We have phoned, written, sent emails and have had no response.
DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CROOKS!!
