The sales agent and surveyor were repeatedly told about the height of the top shelf above the hanging rail and they got it wrong when fitting the wardrobes. The threatening and totally unprofessional emails I received from this company when refusing to pay in full for a clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 is next level idiotic. Obviously designed to intimidate me into accepting their incredibly poor customer service.

They sent fitters out to change the height of the hanging rail, leaving behind a series of holes and saw marks in the uprights. The shelves are unequal in size and unevenly spaced, they have caused cracks in the plaster and marks all over the paintwork. The units are not sealed and have pencil marks all over. The exterior is plagued by marks that look like an overspill from using glue.

At every turn they have stated they will pursue me via legal process. I have paid the bill in full minus 10% but now they want to pursue for another £1600 to pay for the mess they created in the first place. DO NOT use this company.

Absolute shambles of a company that lack integrity and are willing to provide false job reports to avoid taking responsibility for poor workmanship. I had a kitchen installed in 2020 that should have taken 2 weeks. 6 months later the kitchen was a complete mess. Communication with DM design was absolutely appalling and without a doubt the worst i have ever experienced.

Fortunately i took finance out which protected my rights and allowed me to raise a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service. During this process, DM design provided false statements and job sheets to avoid fixing several defects as a result of appalling workmanship. Thankfully i had the original job sheets that were provided and was able to evidence the integrity issues displayed by DM Design and the wider team.

Two years later and the Financial Ombudsman ruled in my favour and i have now been refunded the cost to repair terrible work provided by DM Design.

Please read the reviews prior to even contacting this company and if you are taken in by the sales pitch then please take out the finance agreement to ensure you have extra protection afforded under a Section 75 notice.

If you are in any doubt about the negative reviews listed against DM Design then simply do a google search "DM Design Financial Ombudsman" which will reveal the extent of poor practice and underhand tactics displayed by this company.

Please also search for "DM Design Kitchen Nightmares" in Face book which will also give you a flavour of the terrible work, communication and underhand tactics displayed.

If i could leave a zero star review then i would. Avoid DM Design at all costs.

Avoid this company at all costs! After 4 years the laminate detached from the doors and they blamed a faulty batch provided by an external contractor. They provided replacements but wanted to charge us for fitting - we did it ourselves as we weren’t willing to give them another penny. Unsurprisingly, the same thing happened with the replacements and we now have a kitchen held together with tape! After another complaint their best offer was trade price on replacement doors. Their pricing is all ‘smoke and mirrors’ at the best of times so we didn’t even ask for a cost and have taken our business elsewhere. Strongly suggest that others do the same. Your kitchen might look good but it probably won’t last and you only have 5 years warranty.

Terrible company to deal with.

No project management resulted in my kitchen fit being done in the wrong order.

16 weeks later and still loads of faults that DM Design are refusing to fix.

So disappointed in the very poor workmanship.

DM Design and Krystof recently installed a bathroom for me in Stilring and I absolutely love it. The guys were fantastic and answered all of my questions. Finished in one week and will definitely use for my other bathroom in a few years. They have been with DM Design for nearly ten years and I hope to be able to use them again.

REQUIRED A NEW DOOR FOR MY 14 YEAR OLD EN-SUITE DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.

DM DESIGN HAD ALL THE ORIGINAL RECORDS, ORDERED THE DOOR FROM GERMANY AND PROVIDED AN EXCELLENT SERVICE IN REPLACING DOOR. THE FITTER WAS VERY HELPFUL, PLEASANT AND COMPETENT.

CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENT AND WOULD RECOMMEND THE COMPANY WITHOUT HESITATION.

DM Design fitted a kitchen in Alloa for me and everything went smoothly. There were some damage due to repositioning of sockets but the plasterer Gergi did a great job of fixing. Overall a company that did exactly what they said they would and a little bit more. Will be back for a bathroom in a few years.

While I am happy with the bathroom as it has been installed so far I am not happy that it was started 42 days ago and still isn’t finished.

Fitters we’re excellent, helpful with suggesting the best way to have things and modifying our design to suit what we wanted but I am not happy with the customer service and lack of contact from DM Design.

Our bathroom was started on 13/10/20 and as of today (23/11/20) it still isn’t finished. Had numerous delays, no-shows and no contact from DM Design, despite phoning them up to 7 times in a day and leaving multiple messages which have never been returned.

We wanted to use DM Design as we thought that they would manage the job for us with no chasing up required from our side, which turns out was not the case. Paid up front for their service and once they had our money it seems like they were not interested. Very disappointed with the service and would not recommend them.

My dad contacted DM Designs after he saw a TV advert claiming to offer summer discounts on fitted wardrobes. He is a recently widowed disabled man and unfortunately did not consult with myself - his son, or my brother prior to signing a contract to have wardrobe units fitted. Following a home visit, DM Designs clearly took advantage of his vulnerability and significantly overcharged him, meanwhile making him believe he got the "maximum discount" available. He ended up paying £6,000 inc vat for 2 men to strip and remove 2 old wardrobes, and install a 3340w x 2610h fitted wardrobe with no internal backing panels and 1 bedside table.

To check for certain whether my dad had been taken advantage of I raised an enquiry of my own with DM Designs for a built in wardrobe in the same spec and very similar dimensions. After insisting numerous times that I would like a quote before they came to visit my at home, they finally quoted the units at £3,500 inc vat, meaning the strip out job and bed side table had been priced at £2,500 inc vat, which is clearly ludicrous.

I've tried to call DM Designs on multiple occasions to discuss this issue however I'm always told that the person I need to speak to is unavailable and to wait for a call back that never comes.

When myself and my brother explained to my dad that he had been overcharge it caused significant strain on his mental health. He refused to eat and would not get out of bed for weeks to the extent that we had to get urgent help from the mental health crisis intervention team and social services. This was his first big financial decision since my mum passed and unfortunately he fell victim to DM Designs ruthless sales tactics, causing significant damage in the process.

I would advise extreme caution to anyone who is considering dealing with this company. They will persistently try to arrange to visit you before providing a price. Please be aware that they use this opportunity to gage how much they can take you for a ride, whereby the vulnerable are likely to be the worst affected.

I love my kitchen. Dmdesign arrived and got started straight away Boys worked very hard and were tidy.

They were friendly and polite. Nothing was to much trouble for them. One of my dogs escaped and they even said 'i'll get her'.

From start to finish. 3 weeks. This is from salesman to surveyor to fitting. Can not thank you enough.

Quality kitchen with quality fitting. If could give 10/10 i would.
